Riverfront fishing and floating getaway

Osage and Kings River Fishing- Floating access right at your back door. Located 1 mile from the city limits, and 10 min drive to Eureka Springs, AR, directly on the Osage River, which flows into the Kings River. Two rivers in NW Arkansas that provide some of the best Smallmouth fishing in the state. This property is a home perfect for a group wanting to spend time on the river. Directly on the water, it provides a beach, where the kids (or adults!) could camp, build a campfire, swim, and explore the 10 acres it provides. Sleeps 6, absolutely perfect for a fishing / floating trip. It is just a two bed room. But is a large older home. It is secluded and not a lot of traffic on the road which makes it very quiet. We just got WiFi!!!

A relaxing spot for a birthday werkemd

The property was as described. It felt very private but was not far from our activities in Eureka Springs.If you want to relax and unwind, this is the spot for it.

Quiet and Relaxing

Very nice older home. Loved the large yard. I think my dog's loved the open well kept yard. Easy access to the water. Not far from downtown Eureka Springs.

This property took me back to my childhood; reminding me what it was like to visit my grandparents in the summer. This property offers seclusion and escape from the stress of day to day life while also being in close proximity a wide variety of entertainment and attractions.

Wonderful Older Home

We greatly enjoyed the peacefulness of this place. It was as advertised and communication with the owner was good. Lots of deer! Fishing was not good due to high water, but I did manage to catch a few. River is not too far from the house.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

Gorgeous property and home; we loved learning about it's owner. Nice spacious kitchen and bathroom counter. Would have enjoyed tubing the river however it was a bit too cold. We had a small problem (nobody's fault). the host was easy to reach and took care of it. My family enjoyed staying here and we highly recommend!

When you first walk in, it will go into the kitchen and it feels like grandma is waiting for you. The home has been kept up, It has not been remodeled. We absolutely love this. The sturdy hardwood cabinets, the oversize leather chair, and sofa make you feel at home. The huge yard with the fire pit is absolutely amazing. There is a short trail and you will find yourself at the river. It is the home of 107 year-old Mary Epperson. You will find a couple of family pictures and a brief biography of Mary in the welcome book on the table by the door.If there’s something you needing, just keep opening cabinets and you’ll probably find it. Salt, pepper, sugar, coffee for both the regular coffee maker, and the Keurig, which are both provided, and a multitude of other spices. Everything to make your stay more comfortable.
Plenty of cups for your morning coffee
We needed a screwdriver to put together the portable Blackstone griddle we brought. They were available in the cabinet.

May want to have an exterminator come and spray for bugs. There are also mouse poop on some of the pans in the cabinets. Other wise its a very nice place to stay. We loved the river too!

The house was very well supplied. We loved the lack of neighbors and easy access to the river. While we knew there was no wifi, it never occurred to me that regular data coverage was mostly unavailable. Overall, it we had a good time.

Family getaway

Great place for us to stay! Kids enjoyed ping pong and old school Nintendo games. Spacious yard to park vehicles, throw the football, etc. Older, well kept home that seems to take you back to a simpler time. Really neat to read a little history of home owners! We would like to stay here next time we get a chance to be in this area! As others have stated, it reminded me of my grandmother’s house back in the 70s. Isaac hosts well and provided information as needed.

Quiet and roomy.

This home is off of the beaten path with acreage and a creek. The manicured yard is spacious and great for some outdoor activities. There is a fire pit for cool time of year and shade trees for warmer times. The area between the yard and creek looks to be in the process of improvement and will really add to the experience at the creek. The sunroom has a trundle bed and can double as a second bedroom/living room and the main bedroom has three beds in it for those who like to be a little closer. The kitchen is large and a good size dining area as there is also a comfortable living room. Much more potential to this property. I'd recommend it.

Pet friendly but there is no fence so must be leashed, host was friendly and accommodating. Absolutely loved that it felt so far from everything but it was close to everything. There was a doe that visited almost every morning and evening in the front yard and we also had a buck pay a visit. The outdoor seating area was fantastic with plenty of seating and a large fire pit that i enjoyed. There were several areas inside that were less than clean. The counter tops were not clean when i got there. There was a layer of dust on almost everything. There were knobs and fixtures that were dirty or sticky from grease in the kitchen. On the plus side, it is stocked with plenty of dishes, pots n pans, and towels and linens (love the towels set aside just for the creek), plenty of cleaning supplies, etc. Overall we enjoyed our time there. I don't recommend if you have a pet that can't be off leash.

We had an amazing time staying a week here with our family of four and our dog. We went on many fun adventures in the area and enjoyed the backyard creek. The place was very clean with lots of charm. The house sits on a large acreage, which was very private and quiet. Would love to come back!
