Nice lake access and decks / outside space. Sleeps four adults comfortably. The loft would good for people under age 12, but not for adults.

This place was very comfortable with a great view of the lake. There is a bit of a hike down to the lake. The only down thing was the trash bin outside was full when we checked in and by the time we checked out it was really full. Also the book on the house said check out was 11, however the email they sent said 10. It was a little confusing. Beautiful setup with lots of amenities

My wife and I found the property very inviting! Located at the end of a dead-end street, it offers quiet surroundings with a good view of Lake Table Rock. The owners' attention to detail was obvious, everything was nicely appointed, particularly the kitchen, utensils, everything. There is a gradual slope down to the Lake, its fishable and dog friendly. The outdoor patios are spacious and the furniture is comfortable. The motorcycle riding in the area is excellente! We would stay here again.

We enjoyed several parts of our stay, especially the beautiful balconies, the cozy furniture, and the fact that dogs are welcome. The cabin has a relaxing feel, and we appreciated those touches. There were a few things that didn’t quite match our expectations. We noticed bugs coming in from somewhere, and the mosquitoes made it hard to spend much time outside. The living‑room TV wasn’t working during our stay. As it was my husband, my two adult sons, and me, it was not ideal to watch a movie in the bedroom. We also came across a political thermos in the cabinet that felt a bit unexpected for a rental. The listing mentions a kayak, but it was actually a canoe stored under the house along with life jackets in an area that could use some upkeep. The lake access was available, but it wasn’t as easy or comfortable to use as we anticipated, especially for swimming.Overall, we enjoyed the cozy parts of the cabin, but a few details could be improved to make the stay even better for future guests.

From the moment we arrived, this tree house exceeded every expectation — it was hands-down one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed! Perched up among the trees, it felt like our own private hideaway where we could unplug, unwind, and truly soak in nature’s beauty. The design was so thoughtful and inviting — cozy yet modern, with unique touches throughout that made the whole space feel like an experience, not just a rental. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and leaves rustling, sipping coffee while watching the morning light filter through the canopy, and simply spending time on the deck soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Inside, it was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed right at our fingertips. The space felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly curated for a getaway that’s both relaxing and memorable. Whether we were lounging inside or exploring nearby trails and views, every moment felt grounding and restorative. Communication was fantastic; the host made check-in a breeze and shared helpful local tips that elevated our stay. If you’re looking for a gorgeous nature retreat with charm, comfort, and unforgettable vibes — this treehouse is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Very clean and lots of space! Made for a wonderful 4th of July. So much outdoor deck space to relax. The kids loved the loft area on the 3rd floor and we enjoyed having a place to walk down to the water and fish or float around. We would for sure go again!

About the host

Six years ago, two women with very different beginnings found each other — and became sisters by choice.

One of us was adopted at birth. The other grew up moving from place to place, never quite knowing where “home” would land. What we shared was resilience, intuition, and the quiet hope of building something lasting.

The owl in our name represents wisdom gained through experience — a gentle guardian watching over a safe place. The fish is a playful nod to the lake we love, where life flows slower and abundance feels simple. And the treehouse? That’s our promise: a peaceful retreat above the noise, where childhood wonder meets grown-up calm.

This space was created with intention — for slow mornings, quiet evenings, deep breaths, and that rare feeling of finally being rooted.

Whether you come to rest, reconnect, or simply exhale, we hope you feel what we built here:

A place to belong.
A place to feel held.
A place to come home. 🦉🌿

Why they chose this property

Growing up in SW Missouri as a child but now living states away,

Our treehouse is:
    •    A chosen refuge
    •    Elevated above chaos
    •    Childlike safety reclaimed
    •    A place you climb up into when the world feels loud

For two sisters who didn’t always have rooted beginnings, the treehouse says:

We built our own home. And it’s safe here.

What makes this property unique

Where Owls and Fish, come to play.

🦉 The Owl

The owl is wisdom earned, not inherited.
It’s watchful, calm, and protective — a guardian that sits quietly over a safe place. For two women who didn’t grow up with guaranteed stability, the owl represents:
    •    “We survived. We learned. We built something steady.”
    •    Seeing clearly after uncertainty
    •    Protecting the peace you’ve created

🐟 The Fish

The fish adds warmth and playfulness — abundance, nourishment, and flow.
It’s also a literal nod to the lake, but symbolically it says:
    •    Life supporting life
    •    Sustenance
    •    Joy without heaviness
