Spent the weekend with our best best friends celebrating my birthday. Amazing atmosphere and just all around lovely place to stay. We will definitely be back for more relaxation time.
The house was very cozy and exactly as listed. It was definitely the peaceful weekend away we were hoping for. The host was was great. If we go back to Eureka Springs, this is where we'll stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the house so much. It was it a great location, close to food and places we wanted to visit. The house was comfortable, clean, and we recommend it highly.
We loved the house and yard - especially when the deer came at dusk and walked around. Also it was very close to the Passion Play - and easily walkable to town.
Quaint Cottage with perfect Eureka Springs location
The house was perfect Eureka Springs architecture and location along a bluff rock wall and creek through the front. We enjoyed the quietness of the house, outdoor fire pit and seating. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee, especially when the deer came up to graze. Thank you Gary for our perfect stay!
I love old houses and this one had everything we needed for a wedding weekend quick trip. Wi-Fi had trouble connecting to downstairs tv but no other hiccups!
I found the cottage to be clean ,well stocked ,great location although the cottage is 122 years old everythingworks as it should . If you are looking for luxury this place is not for you . But if you looking for a peice of history you found it. Thank You to the host Gary and the community of Eureka Springs for allowing my sister, great nephew, and myself such a wonderful time.
Very well equipped!! So many towels and shampoos and other amenities! The kitchen was also stocked beyond what we could have expected. The host was there when we arrived, having just mowed the lawn - the house which is cuter than you can picture - the lawn smelled great and the house smells of maple syrup, somehow. We loved our stay so much that we’re planning our upcoming wedding here, now!
Enjoy your stay in the comfy beds! Want for nothing - as all of Eureka is at your fingertips away.
This is an older home located at the end of the Main Street in Eureka. It is full of amazing, antique furniture that creates a cozy atmosphere. Fully stocked. I loved that there were plenty of towels unlike hotels that ration 1-2 towels.
We were able to bring our pets. This is important to us when traveling. The yard was full of smells that the dogs LOVED. The house next to us had deer visiting. Was a lovely surprise!
The location is close enough to downtown that you could walk. We opted to drive. The neighborhood is quiet. This was our 2nd time staying here.
Gary was great at communicating before our arrival.

Needs improvement
Not quite as pictured must of been an old picture
Definitely needs to be sprayed for spiders daddy long legs everywhere including on my arm waking me up
Cleanliness was ok but could of been a little better
Tub downstairs needs maintenance it thru water everywhere and had to clean it all up
Need to warn people of the narrow stairs very difficult for older people and my dog fell and refused to go up them so I had to sleep on the couch downstairs so he didn’t cry our whole stay
Maybe they needed carpeted or treads for safety
It is a quaint cottage and the owner easy to reach

Good Location...but,
I didn't see the 2/2023 review until right before trip. I would agree with that review stating the property needs a deep cleaning. Even a surface cleaning would be indicated. I also think there may be mold above shower. The washing machine and washer/dryer closet smells so strongly of mold or mildew that I chose not to use it. The internet is spotty. There is a directtv box, but very few channels are authorized on it. I have made the owner aware of all of these concerns. He did not indicate if he plans to repair/clean/address. We would not rent this property again. I wanted to leave after the first night when we discovered the mold, but it was a motorcycle rally weekend and there wasn't anything nearby available.
