Chalet "Zwärgli". Above Zentrum Wengen, in the district of Stutzweidli with 6 houses, 1.5 km from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, 50 m from the edge of the forest. Pre-arrival grocery service. Motor access to 50 m from the house. Shop 1.5 km, supermarket 1.5 km, restaurant 1.5 km, bar 1.5 km, bakery 1.5 km, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 4.5 km, railway station "Wengen" 1.5 km, outdoor swimming pool 1.5 km. Cable car 1.5 km, skisport facilities 1.5 km, slopes 50 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. In case of good snow conditions, the house is accessible on skis. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.
"Zwärgli", 4-room chalet. Comfortable and rustic furnishings: living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace (only for decoration), dining table, satellite TV, radio, CD-player and DVD. 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (80 cm, length 180 cm). Living room. Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (chinoise, cheese)). Shower, shower/WC, sep. WC. Electric heating, boiler. Upper floor: (ladder) open gallery with 1 double bed (1 x 140 cm, length 200 cm). Terrace. Terrace furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Mezzanine not suitable for children. Access via a ladder. Instead of an enclosed bedroom, some sleeping areas are located in an open-plan area (gallery, alcove, etc.).

Family of 6 in Wengen for 4 nights (kids 18, 16, 13, 11)

We were wanting to explore the Jungfrau region and have a "jumping point" for many towns. We decided on Wengen for its charm, size, reviews & also needed a place to sleep 6 with a washer and modest kitchen. We chose this home due to all of that. It does state in the description it is far from the train station and that it is! You must or I'd highly recommend a taxi to and from the train station with your luggage. The views however are AMAZING adhering the cows with their bells was music to my ears. The hot water does run out quick -so we had to do 4/5 minute showers to get 6 people showered at night. My kids. LOVED it - as it was true Swiss charm, but if you need a place to easily get back to during the day and want to come and go this is not the place. We left in the am and returned after dinner. It's a GOOD 15 min walk (a lot of up hill) to and from the chalet. It's very quaint however and like I said the views can't be beat!

Gemütliches Chalet in perfekter Lage

Wir waren zum vierten Mal im Chalet Zwärgli und waren wieder begeistert von dem gemütlichen Ambiente, der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche , der Nähe zur Piste und dem wundervollen Blick auf das Jungfrau Massiv. In Corona Zeiten haben wir die etwas vom Dorf entfernte Lage des Chalet besonders geschätzt. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöne Aussicht, ruhige Lage

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Witziges Häuschen mit top ausgestatteter Küche. Sehr schöne Aussicht und ruhig gelegen. Etwas kleine Fenster und ein kleiner Aussentisch. Das Doppel-Hochbett ist nur für sportliche Eltern geeignet :-) Teuer, aber für die Jungfrau-Region wohl normal.

Ein wirklich sehr schönes Haus an einer tollen Aussichtslage! Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Direkter Blick auf die Jungfrau, das Lauterbrunnental und die Lauberhornrennstrecke. Das Haus war sehr gut eingerichtet und ideal für unsere Familie mit 2 Kindern. Tolle und sehr gut eingerichtete Küche! Sehr freundlicher Empfang im Interhome Büro! Vielen Dank!
