About this property

Spirit Lodge- Log Cabin with Large front porch

Spirit Lodge is located 10 minutes from downtown Madeline Island, and is just over a minute drive from the beautiful Big Bay Town Park. We do allow pets ONLY with a pet fee. We have one full bedroom with a queen bed and tv, one bathroom, and a loft (height of loft is 5 feet at the tallest point). Our main level has a kitchen, eating area, couch, dining table, and a wood stove fireplace. The basement is just partially finished, but available for you to check out. While you are here at Spirit Lodge, we hope you are able to spend plenty of time enjoying our large from porch that over looks the front yard. The front yard is yours to enjoy, it is the perfect place to gather and enjoy a fire. Our year round home is located about 100 feet from Spirit Lodge.

We love our log cabin and are very happy to have others enjoy the space! Please reach out with any questions.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
When the kitchen garbage/recycling cans are full, please put them in our large black bins, which are located outside, in our covered storage shed on the far end of the cabin.
Please wash any dishes you use; you may set them in the drying rack next to the sink.
If you had a pet for your stay, PLEASE check the yard and pick up after your pet. We have plastic bags located in the lazy susan to the left of the sink.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, fun, and had all things we needed for a great. Just a few suggestions, more curtains for privacy and futon wasn't comfortable for a lazy rainy day. We'd definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed at Spirit Lodge with my Mom and sister. It was cozy for 4 adults, but very doable. The property has all the things you need on vacation. The bathroom is roomy. Beds are comfy. Enjoyed the front porch. Location is great -- close to Big Bay Town Park, with such a great beach area, boardwalk and beautiful scenery. It is important to know that the loft bedroom has a very low ceiling. If you are taller than 5 feet, you will not be able to stand upright in the loft area. My husband and I managed fine, but it was a little tricky (he's 6 foot, I'm 5'6"). Other than that, everything was great, and I would love to return for another visit in the future.

Spirit Lodge is a super cute cabin with a fully functional kitchen. Loved sitting outside in the mornings, reading and listening to the birds. The place was clean and a perfect vacation for relaxing and disconnecting from the world.

We had a great time at Spirit Lodge. Everything was clean and as shown in the pictures. Owners were friendly and there was even more basic household items available than expected. Easy to get to but not right by town, so very quiet and cozy. Firepit and indoor wood stove with firewood provided were very nice.
