This was a fabulous place to stay Went for a girls 4 day trip. Everything you need is there Beds sofa comfy. Proximity to everything in Saugatuck. Walkable beautiful neighborhood. Great outdoor space in back. Fenced in yard. We loved this place and plan on booking more time there next year. We LOVED the Butterfly cottage and our stay in Saugatuck

This property was the perfect layout and size for our girls weekend. Location was ideal for walking to shops and restaurants. Only complaints were that the bungalow was very poorly insulated and got very cold at night. There also was no fan or window in the Bungalow bathroom, so moisture became trapped for long periods of time. Adding small details like coffee/coffee filters and nicer toilet paper would elevate the space and overall experience.

The cottage behind the main butterfly cottage was damp and musty.Some of the blinds in the main house were hard to close since the mechanism to close them were broke. The house just needs a face lift, it was very tired.

The home was very cutely decorated. The shower doors in the cottage were unstable and fell out at one point. No one was hurt. The shower curtain in the bungalow was moldy. We couldn’t open some of the blinds and windows. We had to wash a pot and cooking spoon before we could use them. Both buildings had a very musty smell Most of these issues could be fixed with a little attention.

A lovely cottage in a fabulous location. We walked into town everyday, rode our bikes to Douglas Beach every day. Quiet street, so slept well:) Wish the back yard was a bit bigger and had flowers/garden interest in it (flowers all over Saugatuck...so pretty). All our questions were answered quickly. Definitely recommend this charming home, especially if you do not mind a smaller yard.

FANTASTIC location to walk all around Saugatuck! Separate bungalow in the back was great for space and privacy. Parking is great (which can be an issue in Saugatuck). Highly recommend and will be back!!

Love the Butterfly Cottage!

This was my second time staying at the Butterfly Cottage, and it’s such a special place. It is perfect for a girls trip - we had the best time hanging out at the house, and it’s also a very short walk right into town for coffee, shopping, and dining! I highly recommend the Butterfly Cottage and can’t wait to come back!

What an adorable cottage in an amazing location. For the price point I had wished it was better appointed overall. No toiletries were available. There is a coffee maker but we were told filters weren’t available (we got lucky and someone left extras). There was no access to streaming services. We would love to return in the future during the warmer months!

The home is located just steps away from great restaurants and shopping in downtown Saugatuck. The home was very clean and our dog enjoyed the fenced in back yard. It is a perfect home for a family visiting the area!!
