Overall the stay was fine. When we checked in there were dirty towels in the washing machine and trash in the trash can. There were no paper towels or trash bags and only one roll of toilet paper. The floors were sandy and a rug was bunched up and in the tiny laundry room. I understand that we are meant to bring extras but having to immediately leave the condo and go get toilet paper for the second bathroom was a pain. Also, it was not disclosed up front that parking was not free. We found out the day of that we would be responsible for paying for parking. The Internet would not work for the first two days. We finally figured out how to reset the router after I messaged the owner twice about the Internet. Overall, I would not pay as much to stay at this particular condo again.

Well, I learned a value lesson this time. Don’t tell the guest how disappointed you were with the condition that the unit was left in before they write a review. 😏 None of these complaints were brought up during their stay except for the Wi-Fi and as soon as I received the message, I instructed them to reset the modem and how to do that. Obviously they didn’t read the information given because the parking fee is clearly stated and there were many questions that I answered that were also in that information. During the many conversations back-and-forth answering these questions, not once were any of their other complaints mentioned. If they would’ve told me the unit was not cleaned I would’ve immediately gotten housekeeping there. There is absolutely no way it was in the condition that they reported when they got there. Unfortunately the condition they left it in was bad enough that our housekeepers, who are very thorough and sent me pictures to prove it, charged me an extra $100 because it was left so messy. As I said, lesson learned for me.
