This property is a Myrtle Beach landmark and features an expansive pool deck with indoor and outdoor pools. On-site you will find the Ground Floor Cafe, proudly serving Starbucks and sweet treats. Indigo Coastal Kitchen on the second floor is open for breakfast and dinner. Hours vary by season. During our warmest months, we open our pool bar during our warmest months and schedule live entertainment on the pool deck.

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites. Children's Activities - This program is available at Patricia Grand and Bay Watch from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

A week getaway.

We went there from April 12-19th. The property was nice. Room was clean but needed updating. Plenty of pool space and hot tubs. Pool bar only open Friday and Saturday. No store in hotel. Staff was helpful. Close to stores and entertainment.

Simply Nice!

Beautiful view of the beach! Clean room! The king size bed/ good mattress made for restful sleep. The Indigo restuarant within the hotel had the best cheeseburgers and omelets! Friendly service all around! Loved my morning cup of Joe from onsite Starbucks! Beautiful pool and enjoyed the hot tub on several cool mornings! We had a wonderful stay!

Had a great over all stay. The sink had a bad leak on day one. Which never got fixed. The plug ins didn’t work great. The lazy river was out of order. But over all the room was nice and clean and we made the most of our stay. Hopefully the issues are fixed in a timely manner because this is our favorite hotel.

The condo was in a good location. Had a beautiful view. Very quiet and private. Was what we needed. Only problem water lack of hot water. The water was shut down for wirk in the middle of the week, after that we didn’t have hot water to shower unless we let the shower run for 15 min first.

Everything we wanted

Great location, unit was spacious, clean and the proximity was walking distance to so much dining and entertainment. Bed was very comfortable. Only down side is the iron in the room appears to be broken(bad wire?) excellent stay, will be back.

Great view

Great view. Pools and hot tubs were not crowded for our late October stay. Pool was heated. For a change I could walk right into the pools. They were so warm which was awesome. Room 808 was very rundown with older furniture but the view made up for it. Enjoyed our stay at the hotel but would find a more upgraded room that was cleaner with more on for table furniture next time. The bed was comfortable though.

Perfect Accommodations

We were worried our trip would be canceled due to the hurricane but Vaca assured us the hotel was still in great conditions to host us. The rooms were just perfect and in a great location to local eateries. The oceanfront view was everything we could ask for when first arriving. I only wish there were more towels and hand clothes in the room other than services were great! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We will be visiting again, hopefully next summer.

Don't stay in 808

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room not as pictured on Vacasa website, pretty sure the photos are from many years ago. On arrival there was a puddle of water next to couch, and again 2 days later, still not sure where the water was coming from. Ceiling discolored with brown stains and plaster cracked. Stove front/top, fridge front, and counter filthy. Lamp shades in bedroom horribly discolored. Large brown stain on living room chair. Cable connection falling out of wall. Base of standing lamp and floor under table in living room discolored, looks rusty. Toilet loose. Pool, hot tub, and lazy river full of sand. I understand there will be some sand in the pool, but it appeared they didn't attempt to clean it during our stay. As a side note, no daily cleaning service provided, because of COVID. If you need something you have to contact the front desk. Staff at front desk were very apologetic, however, we will not stay here again, very disappointing.

Fair condo in a disappointing resort...

Wish I could publish the pictures we took because it would provide more insight than what follows..... Check-in was interesting with the tiny parking lot with 8-10 spots when 15-20 families are trying to check in at once but there was someone from the resort that kept at least one lane open to get through. At the check-in counter, the girl was very disinterested in welcoming us, like we were putting her out for making a reservation there. When I asked about amenities and what we had access to, she just pointed to the card and call the phone number listed if I had any questions. Fortunately the rest of the staff including restaurant employees were very nice and easy to talk with. Then there was the line for the elevators like it was an amusement park...took 15 minutes before we could get into one but at least they were fast. We got into the room with one of the two room keys that actually worked and saw things were fairly clean save for the large puddle of water in front of the fridge and the loose tile in the front room by the balcony door. Out on the balcony there was dried up red gum or maybe cake frosting of some sort. The view from the room is nice but there's a fair amount of film on all of the windows. Bedroom is decent size with access to the balcony but watch out for the california king size bed frame holding the regular king size bed...it will take a good chunk out of your shins. The pools were good size although the outside pool was pretty dirty. The hot tubs sitting side by side inside were good size but one of them was full of mold and mildew...you can tell which I'm talking about when you go there...one hot tub had clear water while the other one was almost forest green, inside and out. All in all, not too bad of a place but there's some corrections that need to be done before we return.

We had a great time at the Patricia Grand. My only complaint is the outdated room.. it was quite old and dingy. The master bed was comfy, the pull out couch was terribly uncomfortable. Other than that, it was clean, no bugs, and the customer service was excellent.

Give Them A Try !!!

Me And My Wife Had A Blast On Our Vacation. It Was Very Busy Upon Check In, But The Front Desk Staff Was Very Friendly And Helpful. The View We Had (8th Floor Oceanfront) Was Spectacular! With Double Doors Leading To Our Balcony That Looked Directly To The Ocean Was Awesome. The Pros: The View, Price Of The Room, Sliding Door In The King Bedroom Looking To The Ocean, Clean Room ( We Use Colrox Wipes And Sprays Whenever We Go To Places Regardless, But It Was Clean) The Cons: Some Of The Outlets Didn't Work, The Lamps Need To Be Updated, The Long Wait Time For The Elevators ( They Were Very Busy ), Finding A Place To Park In The Parking Deck ( Again They Were Very Busy) Overall, We'll Definitely Be Back. We're Already Planning Our Next Trip !!

Ocean Front

Condo was nice, but the sofa bed mattress was bad, so bought a 8 inch topper for it. Patricia Grand reimbursed us for the cost. The coffee maker needs to be updated, the heating platform is rusted. Staff was excellent, overall had a great time!
