About the Home:
This house is in the perfect location and has all of the amenities for a fun and relaxing getaway. Minutes from the town of Grand Lake situated across from Shadow Mountain Lake. The home has beautiful lake and mountain views with gorgeous pines and aspens surrounding it. There are two decks with seating to soak in the views or grill your favorite meal. When you’re not relaxing on the deck, enjoy playing yard games on the beautiful green grass either in the front or back of the house (very rare for a mountain property!). There is a horseshoe pit, tether ball, ping pong, and a basketball hoop! Also keep an eye out for our frequent visitors (moose) who enjoy meandering through the aspens on the property. After a long day of activities, enjoy soaking in the hot tub.

Rooms and Beds:
Master Bedroom (2nd Floor) – Large master bedroom with a view. King size bed, large private bath and a patio door to the upper deck. Step out and enjoy your coffee on the deck without bothering the other guests in the house.

Second Bedroom (1st Floor) – King bed with a large window.

Loft (2nd Floor) – Queen bed located in the loft above the great room with an amazing view and a window to let the summer breeze in.

Sofa Bed (1st Floor) – Located in the first floor living space - perfect for kids.

Bathrooms – There are two full bathrooms on the 2nd level and 1 full bathroom on the first level.

Living Areas (2) – The view is breathtaking from the large great room on the second floor. Access the top deck from this room or cozy up by the fireplace in the winter and watch a movie on the large TV. There is also another smaller living room on the first floor with a TV and foosball table. Guests can access the lower level deck from this room.

Kitchen – Cook in the kitchen with a view of the lake! The kitchen is conveniently located next to the great room and upper deck with a grill.

Parking – Attached two car garage (another rare perk for a mountain cabin!).

The perfect cabin getaway.

This place couldn’t have been better. From the wonderful view to the outdoor amenities to the comfortable accommodations, it will far exceed your expectations. We especially appreciated the special touches such as beach toys and chairs, small toys and board games, extra fans, and lawn games. Nothing beats watching a mountain sunrise from the top deck and sunset from the hot tub below.

Cozy and restful getaway.

The house was impeccably clean. Everything in the house is in working order. We had no issues, which is important when you are wanting to slow down and relax. The beds are very comfortable. The view was beautiful. We spent most of our time on the upper deck watching sailboats on the lake and wildlife in the yard. I would not hesitate to book again.

Great mountain getaway with lots of amenities!

This property was really fantastic and the pictures do not do it justice. There are lots of games to play indoors like ping pong, foosball, horseshoes; along with of course being right up in the mountains. Had a fantastic stay and the host was great. Will be back!

Amazing property

This property was beautiful. There was so much to do and my favorite thing is how clean the patios were. Every cabin we have ever rented has patios full of dirt, spider webs, etc but you can tell they do a lot of upkeep here.

Great Family Cabin!

My family of 4 (2 teenagers) loved this cabin! They have tons of game options, indoor & outdoor. The hot tub works great. Cabin is clean and stocked with all the essentials. There is space to spread out for relaxing or just to have some alone time if needed. The owners are wonderful! This was our first VRBO so I needed a little help at times and the owners were quick to reply & very helpful. Definitely recommend this cabin and will book again!

The house was fabulous - clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The extra tips for things to do in the atea included with check in notes were much appreciated! We enjoyed RMNP several times (make sure you get your timed entry pass if you need one, even just to drive through to Estes Park!). We saw moose, elk, coyote inside the park, and the hike to Adams Falls just outside of town is a must! The boys looooved that they had a basketball net and even tried their hand at horse shoes. And they discovered Scattegories in the closet full of games, and are now hooked! We did a tour of the lake, which was fun, and enjoyed the adorable town. Kylee was super helpful with a last minute special request, and was a great host. Definitely recommend this house for families!

Beautiful Sunrises

Grand Lake is wonderful. Watching the sunrise from the deck over Shadow Mountain and the Lake was nearly perfect. Accommodations were fine. The beach toys, horseshoes & pit, and Bocci set were a hit with the kids. Only complaints were that the bunk beds weren't made when we got there and that one of the smoke detectors was beeping due to a low battery (although they did have extra batteries in one of the kitchen drawers so props to the owners!). All in all nothing significant. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful TWO BEDROOM home!

We had a great stay at this well-appointed home. The furnishings were nice and in good condition and the home was stocked with dishes, condiments, soaps, toilet paper, etc. The only thing lacking that would have been helpful was towels for the hot tub. The views of the water are nice and location to town was convenient. Despite being a lovely home, our main complaint was this is NOT a true three-bedroom home. It is two bedrooms plus a loft. While this was not horrible for our family, I was surprised when we arrived. The loft is lovely but has no privacy and was in direct sunlight from the moment the sun rises, making it difficult to sleep. The bunks are darling but they are in a closet in the basement not a bedroom as we had assumed from the listing description. Overall, we had a lovely stay and the owners were very responsive to our messages. I would recommend staying here.

Great values for a high quality house at Grand Lake

This house is way newer than a lot of other cabins I have stayed at. It's modern, clean and super comfortable. We have a family of 17 so more than half of us stayed down by the lake dock and another half stayed up here in this house. The kitchen is so much better in this house and bathrooms are very nice. Everyone who stayed in this house loved it. Even though the house is listed as a 2 bedroom, there is a bunk bed closet (literally in the closet and kids loved it) and a loft queen room. The loft can get very sunny early in the day so definite put your early risers in that loft. We also kept all the windows open to get real good air flow so we didn't feel it was hot without AC. We would go down to the lake dock during the day and come to this house to enjoy the basketball hoop and many lawn games. The house is equipped with a ton of toys including bacci balls, sandbags, basketball, pingpong etc.. It's also very close to Trail Ridge Marina where you can rent boats. Overall, for the price we paid, we felt we got a real good value from this rental. Will come back again.

Gorgeous View

Pictures don’t do this property justice. The view from the living room is amazing. The beds were comfortable, the property was very clean, and the hot tub was wonderful. Great communication with the owners. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed, even a crock pot. Plenty of space for our family of five. The teenagers all fought over the loft, but the regret was strong when the sun came up because the sun was bright in the living room. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bunk bed is in a closet. That will probably work for younger kiddos, but my 15 year old really disliked it. We played horseshoes, rented a pontoon boat down the way, explored Grand Lake and Grandby, did puzzles (they have a few and we brought one) and on our last day we took a hike up to Adams Falls. Best. Vacation. Ever.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin was clean and spacious with all of the amenities needed to make our time away enjoyable. The location was perfect for our stay in the RMNP area. Great getaway location!

We had a great stay at this property. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and extras, one of the first VRBO's where I didn't have to purchase extra dishwasher soap, utensils or standard things you would find it your kitchen at home (spices, cooking spray, etc). It made it so easy to save money by eating at 'home'. The location is wonderful, between 3 lakes, with something to do for everyone within minutes and so close to hiking and Rocky Mountain National park! We also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our busy days. The house had great space for us to enjoy eachother and also still have space to ourselves. Lots of games/puzzles/activities to do just staying 'home'. The perfect fit for our family!

We are an active family of four from Colorado. We try to spend time in Grand Lake as much as possible, but we love to share it with others when we are busy back home.

Why they chose this property

We have owned property in Grand Lake since 2006. We rented a condo for 14 years and we loved coming to Grand Lake so much that we bought this home in 2021. We have traveled to many places, but Grand Lake is still our favorite and we never get tired of it!

We fell in love with this house because of the location and views. We wanted to be close enough to town to enjoy all of the fun things it has to offer, but far enough outside of town to enjoy the wildlife, trees and quiet. We loved that the house has a big yard for our kids to play in and amazing views of Shadow Mountain Lake with mountains views all around.
