This home features 4 Bedrooms 4.5 Baths, amazing Ocean views with 4 covered Balconies and wonderful accommodations for 12 guests! 2 Kings, 1 Queen and 1 bunk bedroom with trundle with sleeper sofa

Drift into your relaxing Galveston getaway at "The Purple Pelican at BSV" in a Stunning Beachside community located 5 mins off Seawall on the west end of the island.

A welcoming and coastal vibe greets guests inside the home's 2nd floor- On this level, double stairs leads to outdoor seating and round bar height table. Excellent for enjoying the views and eating al Fresco.

As you enter inside, you can enjoy the primary living area, complete with gourmet kitchen, ample bar space, quartz countertops, dining table, and 55" flat screen t.v with electric recline sofa and view of beach . Around the corner, is the 2nd Primary bedroom with low-Profile King bed,(great for elderly guests) en suite bathroom w/ extra large shower and sperate bathtub 50" Tv in room also. Down the hall is the half bath, Utility room with washer/dryer and 2nd refrigerator and access to covered balcony with wooden swing on porch to enjoy the nice ocean breeze.

The home's third floor has vaulted ceilings at reading bench leading to the upper bedroom arrangements. The Spacious 1st Primary bedroom is on the level with 55 " television, walk-in closet, double sinks, separate shower and tub and access to covered balcony with outdoor furnishings to enjoy a drink/coffee or to relax with your favorite book. A coffee bar is also in Primary upstairs bedroom. Across the hall, the queen bedroom with desk and a bunkbed with trundle and queen sofa all with it's own en suites bathroom , televisions and access to the shared covered balcony.

Ground Level- Parking for 4 Vehicles on the two paved driveways, Propane/ Charcoal combo, ,outdoor shower with hot and cold water, Picnic table, * Please note no garage access*

Beach access- There is a community dune walk- over just 3 mins away/ no driving or golf cart riding on our beach in our neighborhood. We have a wagon for you to use

Sleeping arrangements are as followed: 2 Primary's with king size beds one on each floor, queen, twin over full bunkbed with trundle and queen sleeper sofa Sleeps 12.

Pleasant stay

House was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. The view of the ocean from the balcony was very relaxing. The walk to the beach was only a couple of minutes away.

Relax and renew at Purple Pelican

Purple Pelican was the perfect quiet getaway for us to kick back and rejuvenate for a few days. The owners have thought of everything we needed to make this trip a beautiful memory!

Very nice condo

This unit was bright, spacious and nicely furnished. From the rear decks is a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is only a very short walk away. I would definitely like to stay there again next year.

Wonderful family getaway.

Beautiful house with wonderful amenities. Love the neighborhood! Very clean beaches with great safe beach access. Had 5 children under the age of 10 and very kid friendly. Beds were extremely comfortable and house is well cared for. We will be renting this house again next year!

Great Vacation Stay

Our entire family, including our grown kids and grandchildren, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The owners included little amenities which were very thoughtful. The house is spacious, in a beautiful neighborhood, a quick and easy walk to the beach, and close to the city of Galveston for quick shopping trips. I would highly recommend this home!

Beach Fun with Family

As always, a fantastic time was had by the entire family! Lots of room for us to have our own space. Grandchildren enjoyed all the toys & games. Very helpful to have tent, beach toys, & wagons to transport them. Beach is close by. Grill came in handy for grilling. Looking forward to be back next year!

What a property!

Spacious and well appointed house. We loved the proximity to all of Galveston. The owners were very attentive and available. Even ordered a new board game and shipped it to the property! We ended up extending our stay for two additional days. We will be booking this property again for our family get away! Five stars!

Absolutely wonderful!

We just loved our visit and stay at the Purple Pelican. The entire Beachside Village is adorable and our favorite place to stay in Galveston. The house was perfectly suited for our family. Lots of space, everything was so nice. We loved the balconies for enjoying our morning coffee. Fun games to play in the evening, plenty of toys, chairs, and the canopy for the beach. A quick walk to the beach. It was great! Can’t wait to go back!

the most beautiful short term rental ever!

This home is absolutely the best short termrental, by far, that we have ever rented. If I could have given it 10 stars, i would have. Every roomincluded a tv and the full stocked kitchen was very impressive with its beautiful pots & pans! The home was immaculate upon arrival & check-in was super easy. We enjoyed sunset views as well as beach views from the home. The balconies, porch swing & a small swing downstairs were such a treat. The owners supplied us with everything from multiple coffee machines including the coffee/creamer, makeup remover, toothpaste, more than enough beach towels, kitchen utensils, pots and pans and even a diffuser blow dryer! it took me 4 minutes to walk to the private beach and we all felt very safe! We did not want to leave as every moment that passed we fell more in love with this beautiful home! We will be back!

Easter at the Beach!

My parents (from WI) have a condo at Holiday Inn Beach Vacations so my sister and her family flew in from WI and we all met at the beach! The Purple Pelican was within walking distance of the condo and the beach! The 6 cousins LOVED all the beach amenities, especially the boogie boards. The parents LOVED the beach chairs and the wagon to haul everything. Plenty of space to spread out if you need some time to refresh away from family members. Bathrooms for every room were a huge bonus! Great views of the beach from several decks around the home for morning coffee. The Purple Pelican was the perfect home base for my extended family’s first Texas Easter.

Even better than expected

The photos of this property are gorgeous but the house looks even better in real life. You can tell a lot of time and money went into finishing the interior and it was very clean. We had 4 families with young children and it couldn't have been better for us. Each family had plenty of room and their own bathroom. The beach is just a short walk from the house and it included plenty of extras like a foldable canopy, chairs, cart, and beach toys. We liked it so much that we're planning on going back next summer and making this into an annual friends trip.

Wonderful family getaway

This is a gorgeous house in a perfect location. It was our first time renting a house and we could not have been more pleased. It was an excellent house and fit all of us (me, my sister and her husband and little boy, my parents, and my aunt) with ease. Maybe a 90 second walk to the beach. The beach was great. Not crowded at all. Just be aware that ALL of the beachfront (or close to beachfront) properties in Galveston are on stilts, so consider that if you have elderly members of your group who may fuss over climbing stairs. 10/10 would stay there again. My mom literally cried when we left because she didn’t want our trip to end.

2nd Time Staying and Loved it Again

This is our second year in a row staying a the Purple Pelican. We loved our stay again. The layout of this house works perfectly for our family which included 9 of us ranging in age from 3 to 66. I love that there are ample bedrooms and bathrooms for all. We never feel like we're on top of each other. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are lovely, it's close to the beach, the balconies are great and the property in general is so nice. I used to go to Galveston all the time as a child and the town holds so much nostalgia for me. We are hoping to book for a third year. Love it. Book it. You won't regret it.

Awesome

We ranged in age from 4 months to 80 years and the property was perfect for everyone. We celebrated a 4-month birthday, a 10-year birthday and a high school graduation while we were there. We loved the location, both for its access to stores for supplies (though remote enough to be quiet and calm) and for its access to the water. Our crew set up the tent on the beach in the morning and different groupings came and went throughout the day. The property was beautifully maintained and well-equipped with beach gear, kitchen items, linens, you--name-it. The decks are perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks or just hanging out. We couldn't be happier with the property and everyone wants to repeat next year. sue hall

The house was fabulous and well equipped. A second toaster with a family of 7 would have been greatly appreciated. The views were spectacular and the short walk to the beach was great. So nice to have the space to stretch out and be comfortable for the whole family. If we are every back in the Galveston beach area, i would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

One of the greatest vacation rentals we've stayed in over the course of 20 years. We were there for our son's graduation from UTMB and the Purple Pelican made for the perfect home base. The beach is right there and you can see the Gulf of America from the beautiful porch. This place exceeded our expectations and is even nicer than the pictures display. Highly recommend.

Our family loves staying at the Purple Pelican! The owners are terrific and every time we go they have updated the house in some way so it is always fresh and new. Everything is perfect for us. The kitchen has two ovens which really helps and check-in is seamless. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
