2nd Fantastic Visit!!

This was our 2nd stay at the house, and it was just a great as the first!! The space is great for our multi family vacation!! Amy and Brooks are great hosts! Highly recommended staying here!

Great Stay

Just what we were looking for. Our original house canceled at the last minute and I think this one was even better. Pool and quick lake access was amazing. House was very nice and clean with plenty of room for everyone. We all had a great time!

Amazing Corporate Retreat!

We had a retreat here for a portion of our leadership team in Jun. it was our highest rated retreat ever - everything about this home was perfect. Meticulous attention to detail on cleanliness, serene surroundings, excellent kitchen/grill setup, and world class beds. We are likely to make this our go-to spot for small group gatherings for our company!

Amazing Place & Time Spent With Family

The home and the area was amazing. Spending most of the time in the pool and Tiki Bar. Several family members spent time fishing and in the kayaks. Plenty of space for all and cooked amazing meals inside and out. Already looking at dates for next year.

Our family enjoyed our stay at The Overlook. Amy and Brooks made sure that we had everything we could need and had great communication before and during the trip. You’ll get your exercise walking to and from the lake, but the fireflies and deer make it worth the walk. A great getaway at Lake Lanier!

This is a well-kept property and provided us, The Family, with all the necessary accoutrements to facilitate our stay. We had a great time and the Hosts, Amy & Brooks, enabled us to enjoy all of the facilities. We certainly enjoyed both the pool and the lake; however, the trek from house to lake proved to be a challenge at times given the distance and height difference.

How lucky that Amy and Brooks have an absolutely spectacular home that they are willing to share. My family of ten had such a wonderful time at this gorgeous home filled with so much to do: the lake, the pool, billiards, table tennis, lots of games, access to television apps without the hassle of signing in personally, and of course the kitchen and outdoor cooking area. Truly the photos do not capture all that there is to do at this fabulous property that is so excellently stocked. The bedding, linens, pillows, towels are all the best quality. The consideration of supplying guests with ample tissue, tp, condiments, trash bags, paper towels, hand soap throughout the house & dish & dishwasher soap make traveling so much easier. The furnishings are beautiful and all of the cozy nooks with rocking chairs are so inviting. Whether you are thinking of a trip for work or for pleasure, you cannot go wrong renting this property.

wonderful getaway

This property was perfect for our family gathering of 9 after a year apart! The pool was wonderful, the spaces for gathering numerous and varied. Amy and Brooks had provided all the essentials and MORE. Only a few made use of the lovely lake and dock but those that did enjoyed it thoroughly. We are certainly contemplating reservations for next year's reunion!

What a beautiful property! Amy and Brooks have thought about every detail to make a stay at their home just perfect. The home is perfect to be able to spend time together or to be able to take some quiet time away from the group! Great Lake Rental Home

My family had our family reunion here and had an incredible time. House was beautiful inside and out and very private. We had the best of both worlds with pool time and lake swimming at their private dock. Highly suggest renting a boat and golf cart to make it easier getting to and from the dock since house sits up high. Owners were very accessible and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a better time!

Well stocked.

This house and owners were fabulous. The kitchen had every appliance, utensil, bowls, etc imaginable. The pool and lake had numerous floats, toys and life jackets. All the seating areas and beds were comfortable and clean. Great house with tons of space.

Simply amazing!

What a dreamy place to spend time with family! This stunning home offered us more than we could have hoped for - amazing house with very high end furnishings - truly comfy sofas, chairs, beds. The pool is gorgeous and we spent many happy hours around it. The double dock is perfect - situated in a quiet area and perfect for lounging, fishing, kayaking; paddle boarding, etc. We also loved the lily pad! Brooks and Amy were the best hosts - they couldn’t have done more to ensure a fabulous stay!

Great house!

This was our first time to Lake Lanier, and it was great! The house is beautiful and the owners were amazing. The house is very well-equipped. They thought of everything. We loved having coffee on the screened in porch and also relaxing there at night. Proximity to the lake/dock is good… there is a hill to get there, but we used it as a great way to get our steps in and a little exercise.

Very Versatile and Clean Property

The house offers many choices and areas for friends and family to enjoy time at the lake. Everything from a pool to a dock on the lake. Also, a couple of little things that make your time easy at the lake are an ice machine, golf cart and pool floatables.

Fabulous time!

Amy and Brooks are the perfect hosts at a perfect property. They have thought of everything you could possibly need: gorgeous, well maintained house with lovely rooms and hang out spaces, wonderful pool with lots of seating, toys and towels, and the lovely lake with kayaks, life jackets and lily pad. Shout out to North Georgia Boat club for a great delivery of a fun boat. We highly recommend the Overlook!!

3 generation stay at the lake

This was the most well appointed home we have ever rented on the lake. The owners had absolutely everything you could ever think you’d need plus more. Everything- linens, cookware, appliances, furniture…are 5 star top of the line in quality, including the boat house. There is a little walk to the lake and a short cut but it is steep. Communicate with the owners if elderly are in your group but for our 3 generation family, it was beyond perfect and great.
