We chose this property because of the handicap accessible feature. Our granddaughter is a paraplegic and this property worked perfectly for her. Plenty of room to move around in her wheelchair…great bathroom with roll in shower. The only bad part…we had to leave early because of the hurricane that was headed our way. Karen was always helpful with any questions.

I have stayed in several condos in Calypso Tower 3 and knew what to expect. This combination of 2 condos was extremely unique and allowed us a common space in addition to having room to spread out. Everyone got a door. This met our needs perfectly. The space was clean, had everything we needed, and Karen was extremely responsive to any questions. We were able to order restaurant delivery and groceries, and the Emerald Hub and pool were incredibly convenient. I couldn’t ask for more, and we will be back again.

Amazing Place for Family Vacation

This was our first family vacation and included several of our children and grandchildren. This place was perfect for the 10 of us. The home was fully equipped with everything we could need and was beautifully decorated. We were just across the street from the beach which was so convenient. Our host, Karen, was so responsive and helpful with any questions I had. We plan on going back next year!

Perfect location to Pier Park and Gulf Coast Jam Concert. It was clean and spacious. Living room furniture needs replacing specifically the sofas. Other than that it’s perfect.

Wonderful experience!

This was my first time using VRBO and I have to say, the experience was wonderful! The room was exactly as listed on the site. The host was very responsive when I reached out. Check in was super easy! As promised, there were beach items available for our use. Everything was in working order which made for a very pleasant vacation.

Thank you for the 5 star review! Yes the pull out part of the sofa is no longer functioning and has been removed from our ad. We do however have the same sleeping capacity as we have added a tri fold mattress for the floor which is way more comfortable than the sofa ever was!

Very happy with everything this place had to offer. We have stayed in several condos but this one definitely stands out among the others. It was very well stocked with everything we needed with not only supplies but little stuff like sugar seasonings and etc. Perfect location if you want to experience pier park. Could not have been happier. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The host Karen went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you all so very much. Would recommend to anyone and will go back very soon.

Barefoot for a week

We had a wonderful family vacation at Barefoot@Calypso! We brought our adult kids, spouses and grandkids for a visit. Absolutely, loved our pool and the available tiki bar and restaurant in the building! The food and drinks were amazing. Only hiccup was in getting our wrist bands and getting our door codes. We waited about 45 minutes past our scheduled entry time to get the codes for the door and took several times at the office to finally get our wrist bands to be able to use the pool! Karen was a responsive hostess and the condos had a perfect view from the balcony to watch the fireworks!!

One bed was not touched prior to arrival. We had to repair a bed frame. Dryer didn't work.

I reported above concerns. Housekeeper didn't show back up to change the aforementioned bed. No one came to look at dryer, we had 13 people. We repaired 2 bed frames ourselves. Location, beach, and view was great.

I apologize our housekeeper failed to finish making one of the beds. Only the pillowcase were left to finish which weren’t dry when she made the bed and she forgot to come back to complete. I am glad you felt the rest of the unit was clean. She did come back over to finish but as I mentioned you were out and she was not comfortable entering with no one present. Our repairman did come in to look at the broken dryer and ordered the parts to fix it. The second dryer was in good working order for your stay so you did have use of a dryer.

Clean, Spacious, & great views!

This dual unit was so spacious & clean! We had 8 adults & 5 kids & we all fit perfectly. The beds were comfortable & sheets were clean. The kitchens were great & fully stocked, complete with a coffee maker that could break-cups & a full pot of coffee. Both units had balconies with spectacular views of the beach, the pier & Pier Park. We watched the sunset everyday. Speaking of Pier Park, the Calypso is great because it’s only a 5 minute walk to Pier Park. The pool at Calypso tower III was great. We went during Memorial Day weekend & the pool was so big it never felt crowded even though there were a lot of people. The pool-side bar & restaurant were nice & convenient. The beach was also great but it was a bit of a hike to get down to the beach. We were excited to see that the unit came with a beach wagon, beach chairs & beach toys! The wagon was a life saver for hauling all of our stuff down to the beach. Lastly, the only frustrating thing we experienced was getting our wrist bands which gives you access to amenities. We had to go to the tower III office to get them, which closes at 5pm. So I strongly recommend getting your wristbands immediately after checking in, otherwise you won’t be able to use the pool on your first night. Overall, we would 100% recommend this place & we’re definitely staying here again! The host was very responsive & helpful!! 5 stars!

The condos were very clean and with activities (pool, beach, and Pier Park) so accessible, it is a destination where your car could stay parked the entire stay. The host was responsive and very gracious with any questions or problems which arose. We intend on being repeat customers. Thank you Karen for helping create wonderful memories!
