About this property

The Czech Cabin is a perfect country getaway experience that is located just 6 miles from downtown Fredericksburg. This cabin was built using antique oak logs from an 1800’s log cabin and yet has all the modern amenities and conveniences including a full-size kitchen.
Enjoy your glass of wine or morning coffee on the porch rockers; sit in front of a beautiful limestone fireplace; take a long soak in a claw-foot tub (plumbed with shower head) or relax in your private hot tub surrounded by a stucco wall.
Take a stroll around the property where wildlife and song birds abound. Tranquil and breath-taking hill country views, beautiful sunsets, and amazing star-gazing await you. The owner has purchased 2 new golf carts for guests to use to drive around the property. (NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 ARE ALLOWED TO DRIVE THE CARTS.) Please return the carts back to the garage after you use them.
Please note that Czech Cabin is perfect for couples. The homeowners request no pets and no children.

Knopp School Czech cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful stay in a well maintained cabin. Close enough to Fredericksburg but far enough to feel like you are in the country. The cabin is excellent and well taken care of. We always leave refreshed.

Fees, fees, and more fees

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very disappointed in all the hidden fees that were charged. Was charged for taxes 3 times, 115$ processing fee because we paid with a credit card, a cleaning fee, hotel fees. At checkout I received a text message for a list of chores to complete before leaving such as adjust the thermostat , start the dishwasher, take out the trash. Ect I was already charged a cleaning fee. Also, there was a unpleasant smell in the restroom that never went away.

The only issue, small as it is, is with the size of bed. King would be better and the mattress needs replacing. Hard to sleep on. Otherwise, wonderfull.
