The host Nancy was great. Communication was great. The house was wonderful. The ranch was full of wildlife deer and turkey. Beautiful scenery. They had a baby colt and 2 baby calves. Adorable. Our stay at the cabin exceeded our expectations, and was a highlight of our trip. The cabin was clean and had modern amenities (including a surprisingly nice bathroom!), and we found the furniture and bed very comfortable. It was a very cozy and comfortable blend of old and new.We also enjoyed taking a walk through the ranch and seeing the horses and longhorns, and spending an afternoon not thinking about much and being in the moment.Nancy, our host, was on top of everything. Excellent communication throughout the process. She stopped by to say hello and we got chatting about the history of the farm and the horses/longhorns, which was great.The cabin is set back from Nancy's house at a decent distance and at a good angle. So while we had privacy, it was good knowing that Nancy and her husband were nearby in case we needed anything.We will definitely stay there again if we're ever in the area.
