Clean and comfy. Starter kits provided for everything. Slept 8 comfortably. Great yard for the dog to run. Hot tub was a great finish to a day of skiing. Both mountains less than 30 min away. May only be a few miles but the windy roads stretch it. Roads plowed except for the last 50 yards before we needed the 4wheel. Great stay.
Very clean, had everything we needed, comfortable beds!
This was our second VRBO experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. Process was quick and easy, check in check out easy, everything we needed was located on the property.

What a great place to get away from it all! House was very comfortable and well equipped. Perfect mix between being away from it all/off the grid and yet still close to downtown banner elk for any essentials or a meal out. Would definitely

Everything was just as it showed in the photos on VRBO. We had a magnificent stay at Laurel Creek. It was quiet, relaxing, and cool. The paths were not as prominent as the photos but I'm sure that was due to Hurricane Helene. The owners were very communicative and helpful. The area was beautiful and the temperatures fantastic for us Floridians (High 77 and low 60) during July. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Very nice, well appointed home with access to creek. The location is very private but not secluded. Had a small electrical issue when we arrived but the manager took care of it promptly. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful property for families with children. My grandkids loved playing in the creek, hanging out in the hot tub, playing the games that were provided....that's just to name a few of the things they enjoyed. The management team was extremely quick in addressing any needs or concerns that we had during our stay. We loved every minute of our vacation.

The home was beautiful and in a perfect location. We did have a few minor issues with a smoke alarm and the heating unit but the response time from the property manager was great! They took care of the situations and quickly as possible. Would definitely stay again.

Property was super clean, well appointed, and nestled in a beautiful spot on the mountain. The home is about 15min from town, but the drive is very easy. Check in was simple, and the Blue Ridge staff were friendly, helpful and wonderful. Definitely recommend the rental agency (we've used them previously) and the property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home. Everything was perfect! Well equipped, plenty of room, and great deck and yard! The creek and trail in the back was a nice bonus. Very cozy with enough room for everyone to spread out. Will definitely be back! Thank you for allowing our family to stay at your home.

Our family absolutely loved the home and the property. The home was super clean, well-stocked and there was plenty of room for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable and the view was pretty. The home was in a great location and my children loved exploring the property, trail and creek behind the home (and the video game table in the loft!). The house was everything we could’ve hoped for and more and we look forward to staying at this home again!

Thank you so much! We are so glad that the entire family enjoyed the home and had a great stay! We'd love to have you visit again!- BRMR
This is a perfect home for two families with kids. They had a shovel, so we were able to shovel the driveway to get out. You need to have 4w Drive to get up the hill. It fits 2 vehicles easily with snow, but I’d be hesitant of parking more if there is ice. The one side of the house seemed to get hotter than the other side. There were plenty of towels and things for the kids to do in the house and near by. A toaster and microwave were broken and I let the management company know and were responsive. We’d consider staying here again if they wash the top comforters and cleaned the house better.

What an amazing place to spend time with the family and friends away from technologies and reconnect with nature. The moment we arrived the kids were gone exploring the near by area, the creek and the trail were a bit difficult to get to but the kid had no issues. The house was cleaned, with enough towels and with plenty of kitchen must have! the beds were very comfortable. We loved finishing the day around the fire pit and cook some smore, make sure to bring fire starter!!! As I read before in other reviews, the driveway in front of the cabin is pretty steep but we backed in all the time and had no issues getting out of it! We loved to be away from the crowd and this cabin checked every box, make sure to get from the local grocery everything you need before heading home as it is pretty far away from the town. Overall I would love to go back, we had a wonderful time!

Clean but sleeping arrangements were less than desirable
The property was clean and nice. It had an overall new feeling. However, the HVAC unit could not maintain a comfortable temperature upstairs. The coolest it ever got was 76. It made it impossible for the kids to sleep upstairs so we had to relocate them to sofas downstairs. I could have just rented a 2 bedroom cabin instead. I’m not sure if the vaulted ceilings and windows make it difficult to maintain cooler temps upstairs? In addition, the mattress in the master bedroom is worn and not in good condition. We enjoyed the house during the day but our nights were not restful. Very frustrating as rest is part of a needed vacation.

Overall beautiful, clean spacious cabin and rental process
Had a great snowy weekend in this cabin! Everything inside was clean and spacious, very new and mountain vibes. Beds were very comfortable, even the twin beds. Hot tub was very well maintained, and perfect location under the upper deck for some protection from the elements without sacrificing the view. We arrived just ahead of a small snowstorm, and ended up being snowed in The driveway is very steep, and while the top was plowed down to the gravel, the bottom was not well plowed. I briefly got stuck with my AWD SUV with agressive tired, so we decided to park both cars at the top of the driveway. With the additional snow we got over the weekend, pretty sure chains would be required to get out from the bottom of the driveway near the house, or like we ended up doing, parking at the top and walking down to the house (short steep walk). Just FYI. Also, this cabin is about 30 mins from Beech Mtn, 12 miles, not the 2.6 listed in the description. Again, FYI. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

Rented the cabin for the weekend for my girlfriends birthday and invited a couple friends as well. We had a great time! Our favorite thing about the place was definitely the hot tub but the beds were also great. Got some of the best sleep of my life in the master bed, the sheets and pillows were super comfortable.

The Cabin was amazing! The property had everything you needed. We hiked in the back yard, explored the creek, walked to the pond, played pool and pac man! The drive way is steep and you have to navigate it carefully. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, they had toilet paper, towels and soaps available. It was a great investment for our family vacation. We slept 7 comfortably and had 10 people in the house at one time. It rained a lot but the games kept us occupied. 4 twin beds, 2 fold out twin futons, a queen and king bed 2 huge couches in the game room. Plenty of room. There is always things you think could be better, a big trash can down stairs, lots of hanging out happening there. A bathroom upstairs, but what can be done about that. 1 bathroom is in the master on the main floor , second bathroom is on main floor, that is where everyone goes and one down in the basement, all with showers. All in all GREAT!
