Relaxing and comfortable home. For November ,with cold temps, house kept warm and nice..Appreciated fenced yard .Neighborhood is a cute area of Sioux Falls, great for walks with a pet or child. Access to resturants, shopping were great.Would recommend 2 babygates for stair safety ,going down or up stairs if young toddler staying.Have family, so looking forward to returning in future.

The house was comfortable and spacious. It was located in a great area. Owners were very communicative when we had questions/issues. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house that accommodated 3 of us and our dog. Comfy beds, everything we could have needed in the kitchen, and great neighborhood. Would stay again.

Great stay

We had a great stay for a wedding weekend and really enjoyed having a home to come back to in between our events. We should have brought coffee grounds (brought k-pods whoops) but that was minor as there are plenty of places to grab a coffee in the area! Would stay again or recommend to anyone!

Overall stay was good. The kitchen is nice and I liked the fenced back yard and patio area. We stayed over a hot weekend in July and the upstairs AC unit was not functioning rendering the kids beds unusable for our 2night stay. We had to rearrange sleeping arrangements and did not sleep well. There was also a longer checkout list than many places we have stayed at. We would stay again if the AC unit is functioning.

Wonderful and convenient

This property worked perfect for my short stay in Sioux Falls. It isn't too far from downtown or the paths along the river. Kristin was great to work with. I would definitely book again if I was looking for a place to stay in Sioux Falls.

Beautiful Sioux Falls Area

Nice, small house near beautiful McKennan park. Fenced in yard, updated furniture and appliances. The upstairs loft does not have cooling, and there are only basic supplies in the kitchen (few spices, missing some handy items like a pitcher for beverages, oven mit, etc.). Otherwise, very nice accomodations for our group of 8.

Perfect home away from home

We were back to see both families and this rental quickly became "home". It was exactly as expected and as it appears online. After a long drive, I can't tell you how welcome we felt walking in to this property. We especially loved the extras - some snacks and bottled water (plus a few toiletries in case we forgot something). This is the first VRBO where those were included and it truly makes a difference. The beds and all the furniture was super comfortable. The appliance were in great shape. Dishes were fun to use. When we come home again, we'll definitely stay here! We highly recommend.

Quiet & Chic

This house was great for our stay! We enjoyed two nights with another couple, and had the perfect amount of comfortable space. The decorating and updates to the home were well thought out, and it had all the amenities we needed. Even had a fenced in yard for our dog to enjoy. The neighborhood is adorable! We had one problem with the heat not working when we arrived, and the owner worked quickly to have someone onsite to address it. The situation was resolved within a couple hours, and we couldn't have been happier to have warmth in the house as the sun was starting to set. Would stay here again if ever in Sioux Falls in the future.

Girls' weekend

We loved the vintage cottage! Just perfect for three women. I would rent it again - close to downtown, great house, convenient, etc. My only recommendations: identify the "lip" somehow in the basement doorway/threshold. I stubbed my toe HARD on that going into that bathroom for the first time and didn't notice it. Maybe some way to point it out? And the shower curtain in the main level bathroom (the inner liner) could use replacing - it's rusty looking on the bottom. Other than those things, awesome stay! Thanks much!

I manage all of our properties and have been doing so for 4 years now. I strive to make sure all of our properties have the essentials for day to day living and items I appreciate when using other VRBO's, such as books, games, etc.

Why they chose this property

This house is located on the edge of the popular and historic McKennan Park neighborhood in Sioux Falls, where there are activities to do year round. It is also right across the street from one of our main hospitals, Avera, making it convenient to visit friends and family when needed.
