This 4th floor, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom condo features a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms and views of the beach and bay.

An open living, dining and kitchen area provides you and your guests with the perfect space for meals and entertainment. The dining area has a large table that can accommodate up to 8 people. There is additional seating for 3 at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and dishware and features stainless steel appliances. Just off the kitchen, you and your guests have access to a private balcony that provides side views of the beach and the tropical resort pool. Rest peacefully in your master bedroom outfitted with a sumptuous king-sized bed. A private master bath features double sinks, a walk-in shower, and an oversized jetted bathtub. Additional guests have the choice between the second bedroom, equipped with two queen-sized beds and a flat-screen TV, or the third bedroom with two twin size beds. The condo is also equipped with a washer and dryer, electric BBQ grill, and WiFI.

Take a dip in the pristine Sapphire Resort pool, go for a long stroll on the beach, eat at one of the many ocean or bay front dining restaurants, or shop at local businesses on South Padre Island! Your ultimate beach resort experience begins at Sapphire!

Amenities and Vacation Essentials Provided

Every stay at Sapphire #401 includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. These small extras will make your stay even more relaxing and worry-free.

Please note that, in addition to rental units, Sapphire is a residential property. Many of the units are occupied by owners that live here full time. Upon booking, you will receive a list of the Sapphire's rules and regulations. Guests are asked to respect and obey the Sapphire's rules so that everyone can enjoy their time at the resort. This brief note is to emphasize the fact that the Sapphire vigorously enforces these rules. Failure to abide by them may result in fines and eviction. Refunds will not be given to any guest that is evicted as the outcome of breaking any of the Sapphire's rules and regulations.

Fun At The Sapphire with SPI Rentals

Condo was ready when we arrived and was clean and all set-up. Slow drain in one of the bathrooms and they came ASAP to clear. This is our second time renting thru SPI Rentals, would recommend renting through them. Thank you for making our time on the island relaxing.....

The condo was just as described; it was WONDERFUL!

The actual grounds were nice more of a hotel then a condo feeling. The hot tub closes at 10 pm, and the pools are not heated. The ocean was warmer than the pool. We could not go into the hot tub because it was filled with kids. Which is not their fault the water was too cold in the pool

Great condo! Comfortable beds, great location excepts no a/c for 2 nights

The location and views were great. Nice condo with lot of spaces. The AC didn’t work for 2 nights out of 3 nights stay... we called the property manager and they had someone out to reset the unit. It works for couple hours and have the same problem again.

Beautiful condo and location

Condo and Sapphire facility were great. South Padre beach is beautiful. There were a few issues with the rental that were corrected quickly. The rental itself could definitely use some new stainless steel pots and pans, serving dishes and large bowls. Some of the beds definitely need new bedding and mattresses/pillows as well as replacing the pullout couch beds with real comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks

Terrible Property Management and Communication-DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The Sapphire is a beautiful and conveniently located resort on SPI. However, the condos are individually owned and are not all managed onsite or by the Sapphire itself. This specific property is managed by SPI Rentals. Our stay was in mid-July for 4 nights. The air conditioning went out on the first night. We immediately contacted management to address the issue. This was the beginning of the nightmare of NO air conditioning in the condo throughout our stay. Multiple attempts were made and multiple technicians came to repair the system. The system was "reset" several times and would begin cooling for short periods before crashing again. Temperatures in the condo were in excess of 80 degrees throughout our stay which made the experience miserable for all our guests. We contacted property management several times and were as cordial/understanding as possible even as our patience was wearing thin. We followed all the instructions provided by property mgmt and techs yet we were met with disbelief and accusations of misreporting the problem or outright lying. As if, we spent thousands of dollars to come to SPI and then spend hours dealing with this nonsense. On site staff at the Sapphire attempted to assist us although it was not their responsibility. At one point, an employee visiting our room commented, "this is ridiculous" in regards to the temperatures we were dealing with. Another Sapphire employee, told us to never again rent from this property management group as they are the worst to deal with for guests and the on site management. On the last night of our stay, temperatures were around 80-85 and the children in our room had opted to lay in the corridor outside the condo because the temperature was 10-15 degrees cooler and they were becoming nauseous from the heat. After multiple unsatisfactory conversations with property management and none of our guests being able to sleep we decided to pack our bags and leave in the middle of the night. Driving 13 hours on no sleep was more desirable than staying another night in the condo. The Sapphire is hands down the nicest and most expensive condo resort on the island. However, the poor mgmt, bad customer service and disrepair in this particular unit ruined our experience. While they did offer us a financial remedy it was not without a considerable battle and certainly not enough to mitigate the ruined experience and miserable conditions. When booking the Sapphire avoid SPI Rentals.
