Welcome to your dream beach getaway! This is the PERFECT beach house to make memories with your family and friends. Everything is new throughout and ready for you to enjoy it. This beach house offers a beautiful private inground pool that creates a backyard oasis. Beach access is just across the street and less than a two minute walk to the ocean. At the corner, stroll down a long dock that reaches over the intracoastal waterway where you can fish and enjoy the views.

This is a spacious 4 bedroom/3.5 bath home and is perfectly located in the center of Oak Island. Relax on the two front decks and enjoy ocean views and the sounds of the waves. There is an indoor elevator that connects from the ground to the 2nd and 3rd floors for easy access.

Inside, you find this home to be open and light, providing the perfect place to spend a week or weekend at the beach. You will find plenty of room for privacy as well as entertaining, with a fully stocked modern kitchen complete with a large island for gatherings. Two master bedroom suites with full baths and comfortable king beds await. The third bedroom has two full size beds and the fourth bedroom has bunkbeds with a full on the bottom, allowing 11 to sleep comfortably.

There is a heated outdoor shower along with a sitting area that surrounds a large gas fire pit. Lots of games onsite, including cornhole, a basketball net and less than a mile to the local outdoor sports recreation park, where you will find basketball, pickleball and tennis courts.

Generously stocked with beach towels, linens, beach chairs and games for your family and friends. Plenty of covered parking is available as well.

Amazing Beach House

Everything was clean as a pin! After almost 40 years of renting houses, this was probably the top one we have ever stayed in. I did not have one negative comment that I could possibly make..

Great vacation on Oak Island!

Easily the best vacation house we’ve stayed at on Oak Island . Stephanie’s house was very clean and met all our needs. The pool was such a game changer for our family and being one block from the beach gave us awesome outdoor flexibility with kids. We plan to rent again from Stephanie!!

Wonderful stay!

The place was clean, had lots of kitchen accessories, and everything was well organized. I’d like their attention to detail and that they had plenty of starter supplies. Nice beaches chairs and sand toys- my kids love it.

A wonderful house with everything you need!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. The owners provided a great house guide, and checkin instructions. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved being able to grill outside. The ocean view on both balconies was just the best way to wake up and wind down in the evening. The pool was our kids favorite part! The owners have thought of everything, including beach chairs, pool toys and yard games. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Great week in Oak Island

Property was perfect for a week with our adult children and their spouses. 2 min walk to beach. Hours in the pool. Convenience of an elevator. Talk property with an ocean view from the upper deck. Next time we plan a trip, this will be the first property we will look for at Oak Island.

Amazing family vacation!

We LOVED our stay at this beach house. The owners were great and quick to respond! The house has a perfect view of the ocean and not to mention everything you could ever need! Great for a family vacation. We will definitely be back!

Great Stay

This was the perfect beach house. Plenty of room, great distance to the beach. Easily walkable. My kids loved the swing, basketball goal and pool. Would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful home

We loved our stay in this home! Home was clean and beautifully decorated. We loved spending time on the porches. Very comfortable seating both in home and on porches. Easy walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful family beach trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pictures on VRBO don't do this beautiful home justice! The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was more than adequate for our family of 6 to watch a movie together in the living room and also share meals at the dining table. We enjoyed our first meal on the 6-top table on the front porch. The house is very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is just a short walk down to the corner to the beach access. And the "kids" (20's) enjoyed the lit pool for night swimming. We will definitely be booking this home again!

Excellent!! This is was our third time to Oak Island and this was the best house so far! I definitely would want to come back to this home. A couple of kids aren't able to handle too much beach, so the pool was great! Great view, very comfortable beds, plenty of room! The hosts were quick to respond when we had a question. Thank you!

Great Oak Island home!

This property was amazing! It was very clean, well stocked with linens, kitchen items and toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap). There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 children. The pool was great and we were able to enjoy that everyday. The walk to the beach was very easy! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Oak Island!!

Family Get-together

Our family - three generations - had a marvelous time. The home provides wonderful spaces for everyone to gather or to separate for private times. We rotated between the beach and the pool as both were huge hits. We made all our breakfasts and dinners in the home, and the kitchen facilities and equipment made our jobs a breeze. It was a fabulous five days - thank you to the Shields for opening their home to us and allowing us to make wonderful memories!

Perfect house with everything!

Our family shared this house with another family for the long Memorial Day weekend and loved it! Newer construction home with all the upgrades. This home has amazing views. Owners were quickly to respond to any questions prior to the rental and during. Beautiful pool and all the beach gear you could need. We cooked breakfast in and had all the cookware, plates and silverware. We liked to have the washer and dryer for towels! Comfy beds and clean bathrooms! Plenty of space for our party of 7! We will be a repeat renter for sure!

A Magical Time!

We enjoyed an absolutely magical time at this home. It was immaculately clean and gorgeous. We appreciated all of the thoughtful inclusions, such as beach toys, beach chairs, beach towels, pool noodles, etc. We had a bit of a snafu checking in, as we could not get the key pad to work or the lock box open, but the owners responded immediately and helped us out. The house is in a wonderful location, and the views were beautiful (no home built in front of it meant that we could easily see the ocean). We had a wonderful time in the pool, although we wish it had been heated. We would definitely stay here again! All guests were comfortable.

An amazing vocational rental at Oak Island - We LOVED IT!

The Shields Family are really terrific - they think of everything to have in their home and are very welcoming! When we arrived we found a LOVELY card from their family welcoming us to their BEAUTIFUL vacation rental with a bottle of wine and some fancy bath soap! It was unexpected. The home is fairly newer and you can tell the Shields Family take a lot of pride keeping up their property. We had a party of 11 - 8 adults and 3 children! This was a family vacation, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and kids as well as spouses. Despite being on the 2nd road from the beach, this house has AMAZING BEACH views, especially from the very PRIVATE 3rd floor balcony. This balcony has very comfy seating and many of our family members found themselves falling asleep up there hearing the ocean and the breezes were very cooling and refreshing. Our family spent a lot of time on the 3rd floor balcony. The 2nd floor balcony is very nice too and has good views. What is WONDERFUL about this rental is that there is no property in front of the house, so the views are wonderful! In addition to the Shields family being great hosts, and the house having great views, an AMAZING well-maintained and clean pool (which we spent many many hours at this pool - grandparents and kids really loved it!) the house itself was so wonderful! The 3rd floor has a master bedroom with attached bathroom and a 1/2 bathroom outside of it so that guests enjoying the kitchen and the living room could easily hang out. Again, our family found ourselves up on the 3rd floor most of the time. The 2nd floor had another amazing master bedroom with attached bathroom as well as 2 other well situated bedrooms. The bedrooms on the 2nd floor were nice as it allowed family members who wanted to stay up late and play card games to do so easily without having to worry about news. Our family really hopes to come back next year to this house, especially if the Shields family welcomes us back. This was our first time at Oak Island and the Shields Family home made this first visit so memorable! We've stayed many times at Holden Beach (which we love!) and at Ocean Isle, but Oak Island is our favorite spot now especially if we can stay again at this home. You'll like this home a lot if you want a quiet part of the island with SUPER EASY beach access with less car traffic. The home is very close to good restaurants and grocery stores. Not far from fun spots like Southport!

Clean and spacious, close to beach

Extremely well cared for, clean, lots of space for a large group. Plenty of outside seating and eating areas, pool, beach stuff, very close to beach. Elevator. The only thing I would have wanted was more dish towels for the kitchen as we cooked a lot. Owners very responsive and flexiblle.

Beautiful home with perfect location

We loved our stay here. It had ocean views, was quiet, had plenty of parking, was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive when we reached out. There were more than enough beach chairs and supplies for the 9 of us. We did wish we could have found the fire pit that was listed. Would definitely stay here again.

A delightful stay in all respects

Our family, ranging in age from 11 to 81, all loved this place. We enjoyed the large and well-appointed kitchen, the comfortable living area, and the two decks. Reading or chatting on the third-floor deck, with views of the ocean, was super. It's a short walk to the clean beach, and an even shorter walk to a bridge over marshland, with views of egrets. The pool and pool toys got plenty of use, and the large number of beach items added to the fun there. We took advantage of the community park about two miles away for tennis, soccer, the farmers' market, and a concert, and the basketball goal in our driveway was used, too. A visit to the larger pier nearby was fun, as well as watching lines of pelicans--as many as 15--soar over the ocean in formation. Our hosts responded promptly to a maintenance problem, and we highly recommend this beach house!

Incredible House

We had such a fantastic time at this house! Probably the favorite spots were upper deck and pool! Location to beach, restaurants was quick and easy. However we found ourselves staying in the house more than usual. Sofa in living room was big enough to seat many people. Kitchen was well stocked, so we cooked in a lot. We definitely recommend this house, and would rent again when we head for the coast!

Perfect house and location

Quite simply the best beach house we have ever stayed in. Quality appointments and equipment and every piece of beach equipment you would need so you don't have to cram in chairs and carts etc. when you come. Great sea views from the balconies and a very convenient short walk to the beach. The pool was fantastic and serviced frequently to keep it clean. Also the elevator was a godsend in getting all the luggage and food etc. up to the second level. Joe and Stephanie were very friendly and responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely go back.
