The shore house was amazing! The beds were comfy, the kitchen made for a good place to congregate and share stories of the beach and things we saw. We had a fantastic time and recommend to anyone wanting to get away! The location literally can’t be beat! Right on the beach!

Great location

The house was very clean and great location. Such a nice deck and view! We did not enjoy having to put sheets on seven beds when we arrived or having to unwrap and and put away all towels. This was a vacation and having to spend outer time doing house work was not what we anticipated. Also, there is a camera directly above the outdoor shower. That gave a creepy vibe- esp with teen girls in our party.

It was clean and had a great layout that made is seem larger that it was. Especially liked the service and extras from Cobb Real Estate. Received a beach bag when we checked in and free DVD movies from a machine located outside their office.(Yes, I know DVDs are somewhat old school - however it was a nice extra.) Something that seemed odd but worked out well was that no sheets or towels were provided after summer. We chose to get these provided for an extra fee. This actully worked out great since these were all left in a large bag upon entering the property. Each sheet set, towel set, and kitchen towels were individually wrapped in cellophane. This made us feel like they were freshly washed and clean. This was our first rental from Cobb but it will not be the last.

Pros: Right on the beach, views as far as the eye can see from the inside of home and large front deck. When checking in at Cobb, the office staff were very friendly! Large master bedroom and bathroom with a spacious shower. Games, books, and puzzles provided good rainy day activities. Plenty of covered parking. Plenty of linens provided. Cons: Communication was not the VRBO whatsoever which was confusing, so messages went unanswered. Cobb Realty is who would call or email. Manual check in process seems outdated. Couch desperately needs cleaning. Very dirty! Pots and pans were available but most had burnt bottoms and would not scrub clean. Front door didn’t lock and when it rained the water poured thru the crack, which must be a long term issue because the floor is soft just inside threshold. It has a lot of potential but is in need of TLC.

The only thing I can say negative about the house is that there was dog hair everywhere. And it is a pet friendly home, so that's to be understood, I guess, but the couch was COVERED and they don't switch out the comforters or blankets between renters. A simple lint roller would have resolved the pet hair issue on the couch. Switching out the comforters and blankets is A MUST in my opinion. Other than that, the house was very satisfactory.
