This is our home NOT a just a vacation rental.

You'll have access to an oceanfront saltwater 🏊 unheated pool so you can relax by the water. If you prefer, saunter down to the 🌊Atlantic Ocean on our private boardwalk with DIRECT 🏖️BEACH ACCESS. From the moment you wake up, you will feel like you're at the 🌊shore—the décor features cool shades of blue and green.

Unlike many rentals, Sandpiper Hideaway is also a home. Our experience has shown that FOUR guests is the maximum number for a comfortable experience. This is why we limit to FOUR as maximum occupancy. If you anticipate more the FOUR in your party thank you for thinking of us. However, please do not book with us.

Wrapped In a Ribbon

This home should be wrapped in a ribbon. Such care and detail to attention has been given to decor and the comfort of the guests. Instructions for operation of appliances and amenities are clear and concise leaving little room for error on the part of the guest. Home is well stocked, every need is met and exceeded. The home is 158 steps to the ocean front on beautiful Amelia Island. Who could ask for anything more?

Our home is NOT a full-time rental. Instead we have renovated Sandpiper Hideaway for ourselves while making it available when we travel. Amelia Island is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, Nassau Sound and one of the East’s largest and deepest inlets, ⛵Cumberland Sound. Edged with natural Appalachian quartz beaches and framed by sand dunes. Amelia Island's shores have long been a source of beauty. And, the ocean's average temperature during the summer?
