Come enjoy a peaceful or adventurous getaway at our RiverHouse at Old Homosassa!
Homosassa has plenty of adventures to offer you during your stay; boating, fishing, scalloping, kayaking, swimming in the freshwater springs, waterfront dining, and more!

Beautiful waterfront stilt home located on spacious lot with three levels of decks and over 200 feet of dockage - the views are stunning and location is very peaceful! Top decks are fully screened with plenty of outdoor dining space to enjoy with family or friends.

Three bedrooms, two full baths, spacious kitchen, dining and living rooms. Two pull-out sofas located in the living room. Double sliding glass doors in the living room open up to the second tier screened deck, overlooking the docks and canal. Grill area located on ground floor, along with additional patio seating and hammock setup.

Prime location on deep water canal, just a short boat ride to the main Homosassa River. Fish cleaning station. Boat docking available, parallel dock parking only.

Walking or bike riding distance to many local restaurants and activities! Public boat ramps are less than 1.5 miles away by road, and 0.5 miles by water. Homosassa is a golf cart friendly community. Our rental does not include a golf cart. Cart rentals available at; Riversports Kayak, Florida Cracker Monkey Bar, and others.

Awesome river house

Amazing views from the huge screened porch. Very accessible to the main river channel by boat which we easily docked at the house. Enjoyed our stay with kids and grandkids. House very nice and clean!

Family Fishing Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at your home. The location couldn't have been better. Such a quiet and serene cove and close to the river. We enjoyed dinner every night on the porch as we watched manatee and fish action. It was perfect for our family of 4!

Great homebase for family boating weekend

Everything! about the house was just! right!: the location not too far up the Homosassa River, parking for vehicles and boat trailers, super great dock space, screen porch and outside porch for gathering. Kitchen nicely supplied, bedrooms comfortable, everything clean and ready for us— everything worked. Thanks for a perfect setting for making family memories

Great Home

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home on the river. Great location- easy to get around town and out to the river. Home was clean and very well maintained. Dock was brand new and easy to dock your boat. I do recommend being sure to bring your own bath soap/shampoo as there was not any available. The yard is big and gorgeous- bring out door games if you have them!

Great Location

We go every year scalloping and to the springs. This property is on the way to both sorta in between. Nice deep water canal, no bridges, got in and out at low tide and we pull about 2' of draft. House was well stocked had a couple isssues owners were very responsive.Lots of stairs didn't bother the young ones. LOL

Perfect location

Very nice house. Great screened in porch overlooking water with a nice breeze. Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable. Kitchen well appointed. Could use a nice coffee table in front of couch in living room. Good location in Homosassa. Nice dock and large front yard making it very private. There are stairs to get up to main floor and again up to bedrooms in the event there is someone with a problem climbing. Would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved everything on our stay! Everything in the house is top of the line, extremely clean it feels like you just moved to a brand new home. With the attention to detail in everything from decor, to toiletries the owners Amanda and Jimmy went above and beyond to provide only the best. A drawer in the kitchen keeps all the little items that one may need and forgot to bring. This is just a small detail but it shows how thoughtful they are. The property itself is right on the river and there are plenty of chairs on a spacious dock for you to sit and enjoy a quiet morning cup of coffee or tea. There is also plenty to do in the area, and Amanda was so gracious to send us all the info before our trip. I highly recommended this property

Just Amazing!

The place was AMAZING!! Very nice! Gorgeous and quiet neighborhood! The deck was amazing to eat dinner outside! Our kids love to fish and they fished for hours everyday! Very nice deck! Our last day there were about 8 manatees right outside in the water! We hope to stay again when we visit!!!

Very nice house in quiet part of Florida

We enjoyed the property very much. It is a new house right on the River. Fishing was very good. The town is very small so I recommend doing some research before booking. Overall we had a great time.
