Great place for a family gathering for a wedding in the area. Everyone enjoyed the stay including the dogs. Plenty of room and great amenities. The only thing that wasn’t great was the weather with massive rain storms all weekend.

Very clean property. Well kept, flowers outside were beautiful. Owner takes very good care of the property. They provided everything needed to stay for 10 days. It was the best VRBO I have ever stayed at. Please note that there are only two bathrooms.

Host was great at communicating when we had some questions. There was ample amount of kitchen items we didn't need to bring but wasn't sure if it would be supplied. We had beautiful weather and loved having the boat house with water activities and games, water shoes. They seemed to have thought of all the little things that we appreciated!

Perfect spot for family retreat

Had a great time connecting with family. Enjoying the lake front and pontoon boat. Town is only a few minutes away so shopping for dinner groceries is easy. Also, plenty of room to spread out for a little quiet time.

We had a great time with our sons, spouses and sweet granddaughter. The large yard was perfect for family games and the water was fun for canoeing. The house was set up nicely for our 2 year old.

Nice summer stay on the lake

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. The property was a perfect size for our group to spread out on the lower lawn. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. With two days of poor weather we ventured into Milwaukee, a short drive away and enjoyed the city. Thank you for a great vacation!

Wonderful Lake House retreat on the water and close to Milwaukee.

We enjoyed several days at the Lake House with our children and grandchildren. Love being on the water and access to the 'water toys'. Nearby Whitnall Park had lovely trails, playgrounds and even a Beer Garden! Angie was great to work with.

What a great vacation!

We had a great family vacation with my wife and our kids with my parents and sister. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. There were so many little things that made the stay perfect such as the kayaks, quality bedding, comfy furniture, etc. You can tell this cabin is well-loved and they take pride in it. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Our family lake trip was perfect! The home was spacious and spotless. Angie is a spectacular host and was always quick to respond when we had questions. The home had everything we needed and the firepit down at the lake was so relaxing! My family would for sure visit again. Thanks Angie!

Best time ❤️

We enjoyed our stay very much ! The property is charming ,well stocked , clean and tons of space. Weather was perfect , we rented out a pontoon boat which was a great hit ( there is small Island in the middle of the lake where you can park your boat !! we enjoyed our family time in the water ) . We would stay here again and highly recommend! Thank you Angie :)

Lovely spot only 1.5 hours from Chicago

The house is large, accommodating 9 family members (we paid extra for the additional person). The "s'mores box" was a nice touch and we did enjoy roasting marshmallows around the fire pit right near the water. The pontoon boat was a great way to explore the small lake and just anchor so some of us could swim off the boat.

Staying here is like getting to stay at a favorite aunt or uncle's lake house. We were looking for a place with lake access to rest with our family, and this fit the bill well. The home is very clean and well-maintained but cozy and familiar. The yard has beautiful flowers and hummingbirds frequently visited. The back patio overlooking the lake and back yard is sturdy and easily accessed. The path to the lake is currently a gravel walking area down a somewhat steep hill but the handrail is nice. Those with mobility issues would have some struggle, as the owners cautioned, but the kids had no problems. The access to the lake is well-maintained and offers a walk-out area lined with pebbles that leads to a sandy bottom which was great for getting in and out of the provided kayaks, and the lake is kayak-friendly without too many speedboats. The owners provided all we needed to start a fire and make smores which was enjoyed! Mark and Mag live in the cottage near the road and were tremendously friendly and helpful if we had any questions. The owners had a wonderful guide book with lists of local restaurants and created a customized page with suggestions for what to do during our specific days there including farmer's markets and State Fair info which was thoughtful. This is clearly a much-loved family property, and we were thankful we got to spend several days here!

Fantastic multi family vacation

The lake house was spotless and the most well equipped cottage I've ever had the pleasure to rent and is even better in real life than the pictures. There was tons of space for lots of kids to play, a great fire pit, and good indoor living space. The A/C was so nice with the extreme heat when we were there. The water was low, so the lake was a bit silty, but the kids still had a wonderful time splashing about. Great space for a multi family vacation!
