We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for my family reunion. The kids loved the pool. And Mark was a great host. We are hoping to plan next year's stay at this venue.
We had a great time at the house. It rained so pool water was cold. Maybe next time. Mark was good on communication and getting back to me right away. I would rent again from him. My only suggestion would be to get slip resistance pads for bottom of the tubs. Thanks again.

The guests had someone in the party fall getting out of the tub. This is the first time this has happened. She had locked the door so they busted the door down to get to her. They did disclose this to me as a minor infraction but the whole door and frame will need to be replaced. They also brought a dog without disclosing it in their reservation. When confronted about the dog and needing to pay a pet fee they refused indicating that the dog was a service dog even though they provided no proof. I would not recommend them to any host.
Property makes you feel like you are in the country even with other houses close by. Plenty of bedrooms. Hocky table was a big hit for the grandchildren. Unfortunately we couldn't use pool because of the weather.
No bathroom downstairs, those people must come up to main level for bathroom access. Kitchen was not the cleanest. Minimal dishes for cooking for large group. Upper deck did not appear safe.

We had zero communication from Michelle before, during or after bc we would have been happy to accommodate them with needed items. Maybe she didn’t reach out bc there were 10 adults plus children staying exceeding the limit of 10 people. (We have saved pictures from our outdoor cameras). The bathroom situation is listed and explained on the booking site. Also the deck was inspected by an engineer 3 years ago so just an opinion from this guest.
This property was SO perfect!! My family and I stayed here to celebrate my graduation from my MBA program, and there was more than enough space for everyone to stay comfortably! We would definitely stay here again!
Our stay was for our 4-h State Marksman competition and it worked out great for the 4 families that stayed there. Clean, comfy and plenty of entertainment
We arrived late and the host was accommodating. The house was clean and cozy. It was a great layout for our kids to play and have fun. We are definitely planning on staying again in the future!

Karlee and her group were great guests that took good care of our home. Would recommend them to any host
Great place to spend the holidays with a large family!
The house was nicely decorated for Christmas including a Christmas tree. I had a large family arriving at different days during the week. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a bathroom in the downstairs area. I would definitely stay there again!
Great stay with extended family for Thanksgiving Holiday!
We hosted 10 family members for Thanksgiving dinner, turkey and all! This house was perfect for cooking the dinner and had all the cooking utensils we needed! Three generations were able to spread out and were very comfortable.

It was a nice house. We picked the house for the pool. They should not have advertised a pool because it wasn’t clean and we were not able to swim
Location central to Shaker Village, Danville and Lexington - we spent a day in each, along with several tours on the Bourbon Trail. The house provided a wonderful gathering place, with kitchen/living room, front porch and firepit. Enjoyed the rural location, with lots of walks in the neighborhood. The house has been nicely updated and has lots of nice decorating touches. Very comfortable for our group of 6 senior (or almost senior) women.
Came for a Family Wedding. Stayed from a Friday to Sunday.
Danville KY was about 30 Minutes away. It's the closest city, enjoyed the shopping area. Had a Bk, McDonald's, Cracker Barrel and a Pizza/Italian Buffet called Giovanni's very good. Has a Walmart and Ollie's. Good location to check out for shopping.
House was Beautiful inside, nice setup upstairs and downstairs.
Hopefully Host got toilet downstairs in full working condition so you can have full use of toilet & tub.
All in all we had a nice Visit.

Guests clogged the downstairs toilet after being asked when checking in to be mindful about what they flushed down it. The property is on a septic tank and there are signs above the toilets reminding them to use caution. To avoid the warnings and then to indicate we should fix it is unreasonable.
The property was amazing. Had a few issues when we were there. The pump on the pool never turned on that we know of. The down stairs bathroom would not drain properly and we could not use the toilet.
We enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the house overall. It was very clean and communication was top notch and timely. Our only issue was the cleanliness of the pool. The pool required us to thoroughly skim it (well over an hour) and we were unable to completely remove the large amount of decayed and decaying leaves. When questioning whether the pump was operational we were told that it was on a timer to run over night. While we believe that this was the case the cycle may need to run for a much longer time due to its location under a walnut tree. Overall we had a great stay.

The property is located in a wooded area surrounded by trees. It is not possible to keep debris from falling into the pool. Not possible to keep it looking like a “commercial hotel” pool. Would consider having it cleaned daily for a fee. If Tony would have requested this we would have provided but didn’t communicate this until they checked out.
One toilet didn’t work, no railing at entrance, ceiling fan in kitchen was filthy, several chairs in the kitchen were broken. Our car drug when we pulled out of gravel parking area. We had 2 on canes and with no railing it was very hard entering and leaving.

Jean complained about the costs from the time they made the reservation wanting more of a discount. There are no chairs broken in the kitchen. There is one step to the porch and one step from the porch to the house so there is no rail. However there is a side entrance with a rail to hold onto but more steps. Yes the driveway is on a hill but nothing which isn’t uncommon in KY. KY is not flat terrain. Yes one toilet was not made available with 3 toilets in the home bc a previous guest that checked out the day before clogged it with baby wipes. An unfortunate temporary problem.
