Beautiful place to relax. Certainly can’t always say this after staying in a VRBO, but the beds were comfortable too!

Thank you so much Josi for your review. There is something magical about that place - everyone always gets a good nights sleep, myself included! I'm glad you and your family enjoyed your vacation!
Went on a girls trip. There was 7 of us. We all had a great time. The beds were fine, plenty of pillows and blankets. We cooked all our meals and there was everything needed to prepare what ever we wanted. The kitchen was fully stocked. The town is cute and everyone was so friendly. Kim sent me all kinds of things to do around town. It was wonderful and we would recommend this place.
The place was perfect for my family of 4 plus our dog. Very clean with a great view. Beds were comfortable and we were minutes away from town and Pictured Rocks N.P. Very well stocked, just as described We had an amazing stay, and Kim was so nice and helpful giving us lots of info on the U.P. in genereal, as we had never been. Very highly recommended! We would love to return.
What an outstanding home base for our annual rock hounding trip! Super comfortable nicely decorated space for the 5 of us and our pup. Well-stocked kitchen was easy to cook and eat dinner in (& gather around the table to look at our rock finds) with a fantastic view of the birches, harbor, and lake! Couches and beautiful tv, books, and games for down-time. Bedrooms and porches/view off each were a great setup (hope it’s a bit warmer to take better advantage out next stay). Huge yard to wander and exercise the dog, see deer & birds …and the view- really just fantastic.

Thank you Kevin! I'm so glad you had a wonderful time! It is warming up - finally. This year has been weird for weather! I hope you can make it up again for some more rock hunting!
It was a great house, great location, quiet, and my husband would say the perfect fireplace. Because of how dark it was, it was the most amazing northern lights we had seen in Grand Marais. The only thing that could have been better was to have cupboard room for food that we brought, and maybe have a outdoor grill.

Hi Cathy! Thank you for your kind words. I’m glad you got to see the Northern Lights! They are always amazing and you can see them right from the porch. Per another request, I am adding a Weber grill next season. I have always been concerned about safety so have held back on placing one. We will see how next season goes. There is a rack over the fire pit that many people have used in the past. I hope you will be able to visit again!!!! - Kim
The perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Upper Peninsula. Beautiful views, well equipped kitchen and property, close to Pictured Rocks, and the town if Grand Marias is within walking distance. We had a really great stay - thanks for all the recommendations, Kim!

Beautiful place to just relax and look at the lake
This vacation home was in a great location, close to town & the lake. It was a quiet & comfortable retreat. Kim (host) was accommodating in every way; she was sooo helpful to see we experienced the area to is fullest.
Convenient location & great views of the harbor & Lake Superior - walk to the quaint small town for food, ice cream, local museums, charming art gallery - Sandy beaches nearby - great rock hunting ! The property is roomy, the house is comfy, clean & private - we would return
Beautiful property and great location. Plenty of activities nearby but you may just want to stay on site to watch the wildlife in the yard and the freighters go by.Kim is a great host and better tour guide.Great advice about shopping for groceries and gas in the area and knows all the where to go and what to do in the UP.
