CRITTERS CORNER-Centrally located just 3 miles from Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge.

Critters Corner is a recently updated cabin conveniently nestled just 3 miles between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Residing on a wooded landscape, wildlife can often be seen wandering about. From the upper deck to the picnic area, you will see small critters such as squirrels and rabbits to larger animals such as deer or an occasional bear. The peaceful location makes it a perfect spot to relax!

Outside, unwind on the outdoor patio or in the soothing hot tub. Inside, challenge your family and friends to a game of air hockey or arcade classics in the entertainment area!

With three spacious bedrooms featuring one king bed and two queen beds plus a double futon common area, there is plenty of room for everyone. Linens are provided. A pack-n-play, highchair and baby gate on site for your convenience.

The two bathrooms are conveniently stocked with towels and starter soaps. There are starter soaps for the laundry and dishes as well (for lengthy stays or several people, we do recommend you bring additional supplies).

Being pet friendly ensures a comfortable stay for you and your furry companion.
An animal crate is on site for your convenience (under bed).

Tucked up in the mountains can sometimes create a struggle with phone service. The cabin is equipped with a landline phone, Wi-Fi and Spectrum TV service to help accommodate your technology needs.

Critters Corner is the perfect stay for unforgettable mountain memories!

Our sister cabin, Buck Wild Cabin, is conveniently located within walking distance, making it easy to accommodate larger groups, while creating privacy and communicating with just one host.

Great location

The location of this home was wonderful. It was very quiet and relaxing but still close enough to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This home was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space and the outdoor seating was great.

the place was perfect. it was quiet and each space had a spot to relax. the kids had fun with the games and it was nice 1 tv had roku. well built and kept up cabin. the host thought of everything you need during your stay, down to the coffee we forgot. we will be staying again someday. we liked it so much we stayed an extra night.

This was our second time staying at Critters Corner. It was just as wonderful as the first. We love this property. It's very clean and has everything we need. Being able to have our fir babies with us makes our vacation complete. We love being amongst the trees and yet being close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It just really feels like home away from home for us.

Holiday vacation trip

The Cabin was very nice ,it was clean and the hostess was great very responsive ..and not to mention,even let me check in early.. I totally recommend this property and look forward to rebooking it near future.

Great stay

We had a great stay! The cabin was cozy and in a perfect location—right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, so it was super convenient for exploring both areas. My daughter performed at Gatlinburg Convention Center for her dance nationals and it was just a 20 minute drive with traffic so location worked out perfect. Just a heads-up: since pets are welcome, there was a little dog hair here and there, but nothing that took away from our experience.The kids had a blast with the air hockey table and Pac-Man game—such a fun bonus! We didn’t use the hot tub, but it was very clean and located on a great screened-in patio, perfect for relaxing. There’s also a small pond within walking distance with ducks, which was a lovely surprise and a great spot for a quick stroll.One of the highlights of the trip was seeing plenty of bears around the property—such a cool and unforgettable part of the mountain experience! We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway with fun amenities and a touch of wildlife adventure.

New years at the cabin

We had a great stay. Loved the game room downstairs and had a wonderful time just hanging as a family and playing games. Loved that the hot tub had two entrances. It is just a nice and convient place to stay.

Critter’s Corner!

We enjoyed the cabin very much. The location is excellent, right between Pigeon Forge, and Gatlingburg. The area is very quiet, and roads not too steep, easy in and out route. We didn’t see any bears or deer, but the lake at the end of the street was beautiful! Nice place for a short vacation!

Christmas Vacation

Critters Corner is exactly as advertised, very cozy. The home was spotless, it had all the extras we needed. It’s in a great location, tucked away but close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There is a small lake around the corner, my dog & I enjoyed our many walks. The decks have been upgraded, very nicely done. We enjoyed the hot tub every day, the enclosed deck was nice and private for soaking. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Quiet Getaway close to all the action

The cabin was a hit with our whole group (ages 5-40). It’s in a quiet valley and feels very mountain getaway BUT it’s only 5-10 minutes to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge attractions, and the Smokey Mountains. Contact and check-in was easy. Wish hot tub towels were provided but we brought our own this time. Highly recommend this place and we would book here again if we came back. Thank you for hosting us!

Our stay was great, the cabin was spotless and in perfect condition. It was close to all of the attractions yet private and away from the crowds. We enjoyed the hot tub and the relaxing inviting atmosphere. We would certainly stay there again. The rooms were comfortable and had plenty of seating for a family. While the unit welcomes pets, there was no trace of pet hair or animal damage anywhere on the property. We enjoyed this great vacation home and the surrounding area. thanks

Quick Getaway

Property Manager was very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect - right off parkway between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. There is a pond about “half a block” away. Kids loved air hockey and electronic game machine. Thanks!

Quiet and close to everything

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property manager always answered quickly whenever we had questions. The little pond down the street is great for fishing. Our grandson caught 3 fish. And the hottub is exactly what we needed after a day out in Gatlinburg which is only about 4 miles away. Pigeon Forge is about 3 miles also. Very convenient location and beautiful property. I will definitely book this one again .

Nice place!

My family enjoyed our stay at Critter Corner. Parking was a bit tricky with a truck but manageable. The flooring was hardwood and a little scary for our 90 year old dad to navigate so I would suggest perhaps placing a runner at the front door and area rug In the bedroom. Also needed bathroom rugs as there were none- you had to put towel on floor. Otherwise we lived the house!

Got the job done but had higher hopes

Overall, for the price, this cabin did everything we needed it to, but there were a few annoyances through out our extended weekend stay. We were staying here with 3 other couples for a wedding. Upon arriving, the tv in the living room and the primary bedroom were on, there was a used washcloth sitting on a shelf in the closet of the primary bedroom and food stains on the wall in the kitchen. This made us a little concerned about the true cleanliness of the cabin despite the strong smell of bleach that lingered when we entered. We had also planned on being able to make a few meals at the cabin but the kitchen lacked basic necessities that made it very difficult to do so. There was no sponge to wash dishes with, the dishwasher was full and left for us to unload upon arrival, the bathrooms had no ventilation so we had to shower with the window/ door open to keep the bathroom from filling with steam. Lastly, the sound and picture on the tv in the living room kept going out while trying to watch football games. The location is great. Its tucked off the busy road but right in the middle of both gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The hottub was a nice plus and we loved utilizing the many deck spaces to enjoy coffee in the mornings.

Great location, Family friendly home

Overall, we had a fantastic stay! The price was reasonable and the location was perfect for going between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It had a mountain feel but wasn't too far away from town. Pros: The hot tub stayed hot even in single digit temps and the games were loved by the kids. There was a gate to block off the top of the stairs which was perfect for keeping the dog off the top floor when we wanted. The beds were comfortable. The floor plan was perfect if you are traveling with parents/grandparents since the other couple can stay upstairs and the noisy kids can stay downstairs. Cons: The house could have been better stocked for our length of stay. We assumed hotel-type provisions which would have included toilet paper and garbage bags for each day of our stay. We realized on the night of a snow storm that we were only given a small amount of toilet paper and ran out before we realized there was no more available. There were specific types of dishwasher tabs required but we were only given a few for our whole week's stay. We had 8 in our group but were only given 8 towels. This led to constant washing/drying of towels since there were no hot tub towels provided. If you like a shower after the hot tub, bring your towels or you will be using wet, chlorinated towels after your shower. All in all we had a great stay. With minor improvements, these inconveniences could have made our stay much less frustrating. I suggest to the host to charge a few dollars more if needed to provide toilet paper, garbage bags and dishwasher tabs to reasonably cover each night's stay. We had a fantastic time in this home and would gladly return. Thanks so much!

Nice cabin but…

We arrived on a Thursday evening, booked this property many months prior to this trip. Booked it because it was close to the attractions we were going for and it looked nice in photos. They knew for months that 7 of us were coming, our 8 year old grandson was to sleep on the futon, everyone else had a bed. There were NO linens for the futon, we contacted the host. They apologized. Also in the screened in porch where the jacuzzi was the glas top table was filthy with rings from glasses and food splattered. Nothing there to clean it with. No sponge to clean the dishes. They left us 2 dishwashing detergent packets but were there for 3 nights, there was a kitchen garbage but just the one bag in it and no extra bags. They ask that all garbage be brought out to the trash, we had to carry the whole van out because it was so heavy, with 7 people in a home and cooking, i would think there would be extra bags, no shampoo or conditioner. Supposed to leave it cleaned up but no sponge to do dishes only an old dishrag. We have rented many many homes over the course of about 30 years and usually you get at least a small travel bottle of shampoo, a clean sponge and extra garbage bags. I felt like they were on a strict budget, but this is supposed to be home away from home. The extra linens showed up at 8:45 pm on our second night well after our 8 year old went to sleep. So basically had the linens for his bed for one night. The location was great, we saw bears, were celebrating 2 birthdays.

Property was very pet friendly and over all clean. Shower curtains do need a changing for mold at bottom of curtain. Possibly consider making the screened in porch wheel chair accessible! Over all we enjoyed our stay.
