It was a wonderful place to stay and we had a fantastic time. The view was just what we needed in the mornings. Being close to the pool was very convenient and the noise level was never an issue. Great family memories were made.

This place was better than the pictures even showed! The host was friendly and replied to messages within 10 minutes usually. The house was clean and WELL stocked with kitchen ware, bathroom supplies, towels, washcloths.... I would def recommend this house AND host!

Always enjoyable!

My family and I stay here at least once a year and more often when possible. It’s been a relaxing and relaxing enjoyable time every time. The property is very comfortable and the views of the bay in the morning are mesmerizing. The kids always enjoy the pool and I love being able quickly get to anything on the Port Isabel or island side.

Tropical Get Away

Our stay was great. We had a few hiccups along the way but Fred was very accommodating and responded quickly to our requests. The view from our house was amazing and everything to do was very close by. Highly recommend!

Near everything you could want to do. Accommodations were awesome. However, a mattress needs to be replaced. I Would definitely stay again

This home was beautifully maintained, everything inside was super clean and comfortable, great location - 2 -5 min drive from all the stores you’d need, 15ish to SPI. Pool was a lovely amenity.

Wonderful Beach House!

Immaculately clean, wonderful Beach House. About 10 min to South Padre Island and all the attractions. Pool and hot tub associated with gated community is wonderful. You can walk from this property to the pool complex via the boardwalk. Loved the luxurious bath towels!

Beyond Expectations!

With 3 distinct outdoor seating areas, a complete and lovely kitchen, seaside decor, and extremely comfortable and bright rooms and hospitality, we will return! We loved the location, with both sunrise and sunset views, watching the tide and birds, along with the privacy was beautiful and relaxing. The little extra touches throughout were well appreciated. We highly recommend it!

Just wanted to say how friendly the owner is and how easy it was to communicate. He worked with us when we had to change dates. Comfortable beds, roomy, beautiful decorating of home, not far from the beach.

Perfection

This little house is in the perfect location. Close to the beach, but not too close. And close to all the fun amenities in Port Isabel, South Padre and the cute little community the house is in. The view from the back of the house was amazing at sunrise and sunset! My only complaint is that the house can sleep 8, but there was only silverware for 4. There was a lack of cups as well and the fridge water/ice maker was broken so we had to buy bottled water because the water out of the sink tasted awful. I would stay there again!

Great vacay

We loved the place! It was more of a distance from the island to my liking, but the accommodations made up for it. The pool was right next door and two cozy backyard patios....very comfortable. We were pleased. I will say this though. We had our 19m old grandson and though he's quite comfortable with stairs, there's several so keep a watchful eye. Also the patio at the end of the yard isn't too secure meaning it's not gated and only roped off so a small child could easily fall. Other than that, it was great. We'd definitely come back.

Awesome view

As a family group of 7, we had the most beautiful time. The view from the patio was spectacular. The location to beach is not far with lots of restaurants near. Will definitely book here again if possible.

Hello, my name is Fred Lopez and I'm married to my wife, Kenya and we have an only son, David. I'm born and raised in South Texas, I'm an army veteran, and we currently reside in Edinburg, TX. We enjoy the outdoors and the south Texas weather for the most part (it can get very hot!). We both have done work and vacation traveling and realize that we have a great vacation spot very near to our permanent home.
We're both full time professionals, my wife is an educator, and I work in the construction industry. We understand the importance of having a calm and peaceful getaway.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property because of the great location and benefits offered in the gated subdivision. The backyard has great views and ambiance. We have been visiting the South Padre Island area for many years and would always talk about buying property to get away from our normal daily life routine. This property gives us that getaway we have been looking for.

What makes this property unique

The uniqueness of this property is two-fold. One is a relaxing ambiance with Laguna Madre as your backyard. The balcony has a great view of the ocean, swimming pool, and fishing pier. Enjoy the backyard patio set and decks which offer many sights and sounds of nature with birds, dolphins, and fish. The other is all the amenities offered by the subdivision HOA. You are in a private, gated subdivision and that is great peace of mind. You can enjoy the pool side chairs and tables, swimming pool, or the hot tub. You can fish from the fishing pier, wade fish, or kayak fishing. There are trails just outside the subdivision that connect to some very scenic routes for walking, running, or biking. In addition, there is a subdivision common area with picnic tables, kids playground, and a basketball half-court.
