4616 Gulf (South) is a 6 bedroom/6 bathroom beachfront townhome with a private pool and hot tub!
The vast 5500+ square foot beachfront estate is perfect for large groups, friends and families!

The 1st floor encompasses a large open concept for the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is built for a chef, with ample countertop space for meal preparation, huge refrigerator and freezer, ice maker, and massive propane stove. The large counter space offers plenty of room for extra seating close to the dining area. The living room features a large flat screen tv with a large couch able to accommodate guests while watching their favorite shows or movies.

The second and third floors entail 5 bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. The bedrooms are all exceptionally large, especially the master suites! The bathrooms have incredibly detailed tile work and offer guests ample space. This home offers balconies on the front and backyard, whether you want to watch your family and friends play in the pool area, or hang out on the oceanside where you can see South Padre Island's beautiful white sandy beaches. The property is also located within walking distance to local shops, restaurants, entertainment & much more!

**Please note that this property does have a shared driveway and entry gate. There are also two garage apartments at the front of the property that may be in use by others during your stay. These apartments are not included in the rental of this property (4616 Gulf South).**

Every stay at 4616 Gulf South includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. The home was amazingly beautiful! Had a slight issue with the hot tub, but the maintenance guy was there I. Minutes to fix it on day one and we enjoyed it the rest of our trip.

Perfect location!

80th Bday Celebration!

Our entire family celebrated my Mom’s 80th bday and we couldn’t have asked for a better location and property. The size was perfect for us and we appreciated having bathrooms for each bedroom since there were multiple families and many different ages. Be aware there are many steps to the bedroom areas. Only one bedroom with double beds on main floor and that bathroom is shared with main floor. The views from second and third floor are amazing!

Extra Large Beautiful Beach home

We totally enjoyed our stay here. It was as close to the beach as you could get, had a pool and plenty of room for our family group of 14. The only improvements that we would suggest is more pool chairs for the pool area, being able to use the elevator for injured my husband would have ben nice. Bunk beds in one of the rooms would have been nice for kids. The two refrigerators and the large dining area was wonderful. Having a private shower/bathroom for most guests was also a nice bonus.

Family summer get away

Had the whole family, the place is great, right on the beach great outdoor spaces with pool. Could have used more TP for the bathrooms and would have been nice to have more dishwasher pods and laundry detergent but overall this place is great. Accessible for older folks as well as children. Everything was very clean, beds are comfortable and rooms are really spacious. The 3rd floor master has a great shower. We all really enjoyed ourselves and this will be a lifetime memory for my family. Thank you

Beach Family Vacation

Huge ocean front home with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms ( extra beds in 4 of the bedrooms). Large kitchen with 2 refrigerators (very helpful with a large group), 6 burner stove, large table for 8 plus long bar area seats another 8 people. In the closet under the stairs are lots of extra beach chairs and beach toys. Each of the 3 floors has a nice balcony for watching gulf activities or sipping morning coffee. Our family ranged in age from 2 to 73 and we all had a wonderful time!

We had our whole immediate family 14 of us staying at the SPI Property located at 4616 Gulf Blvd South. We had a fabulous time and less than 2 minutes to a fantastic beach. The house was clean and over all in good shape. We were able to sleep ever one comfortably with their own bathrooms. I would highly recommend this property as a wonderful getaway for family and friends! SPI property's was fantastic to deal with and made sure the property was clean and functional when we arrived. Great location and good week. Staff responded to needs when contacted. Pool dirty issues from storm. Dryer element replaced. Light bulbs replaced. AC repaired. It is a great space. Watch out for grass burrs in pathways across lawn and on way to beach.

The location and views are stunning - in addition the home is incredibly spacious with very comfortable beds. The areas that need improvement include: non-operational window treatments in a few rooms, television/cable boxes a bit funky on the set up, some faucets (kitchen and bathroom) were loose and the kitchen sink seal is missing. The living room floors and couch are showing wear.

Fun time had by many!

The house was fabulous and worked great for my 3 generation gathering. We had 8 adults and 5 between the ages of 2-13. We enjoyed everything in the house including all the space! Mostly, we enjoyed our time together. The house even served as a place for my extended family to gather on Saturday to share our mom's memories and then scatter her ashes. The only down side, the pool was not heated but it served it's purpose if you were willing to give it a try. Thank you for allowing your home to be become our home for a short while.

Spacious but needs TLC

The location and size was perfect, however the pictures are a little misleading. This could be a really beautiful space. It just needs a little TLC. The tile around the pool was broken in several places and not safe. The outdoor furniture on the first floor was not usuable. I would definately rebook next year if these issues are addressed.

Photos are deceiving

The photos in the ad must be older, this place is falling apart. Pool area has cracks in the tile and missing tile, not to mention was not cleaned recently. Refrigerator was leaking (had to bring in an additional one to help with frozen items), blinds had missing pulls, so you couldn't raise them to see the view, one TV did not work, jacuzzi tub did not work, one TV box was just hanging from the back of the TV, Gas stove has issues with the striker and they leave the bare minimum in towels (very few hand towels/wash cloths), trash bags etc. you have to request more if needed. Overall review is poor. The only thing going for this place was the linens were clean and the beach access was out the back door. Great place if your expectations are low.

4616 Gulf Blvd - Visited July 3-11, 2021

When we stayed for a week at 4616 Gulf Blvd., the house had lots of needed repairs. The stove/oven and hot tub did not work. We knew this in advance and purchased a toaster/oven prior to going. One of the refrigerators didn't cool as it should. The pool and surrounding area was covered in bird poop, the tiles around pool were broken, the step-down area into the garage was flooded and not draining so that our shoes got drenched each time we went into garage to get car. Unfortunately, it rained nearly every day, and rained into one of the bedrooms leaving the floor wet. That said, on the day we left, the gas company was at the house prepared to repair the stove/oven. The refrigerator was repaired while we were there. A cleaning crew came in to clean up the pool and the area around the pool (but with returning birds it might not stay clean). We were told that repairs would be made to the leaking bedroom window and wall. Our requests for help with the problems were met with quick replies and promises to get all repaired. We felt like nearly everything would be repaired and clean for the next guests. The house, itself, is so spacious that our family of 16 was very comfortable (with one exception - one of the beds, second floor in the front of the house was extremely LUMPY. It was so lumpy that we couldn't use it for anyone to sleep on. I don't think a child could have slept on it. There seemed to be a cavity in the middle of that mattress. We had to double up where we hadn't planned on doubling up. And, we failed to report that problem with so many other more important problems.) The house is right on the beach with a wonderful view of the ocean. The small pool is on the street side of the house - not on the ocean side. There are a few things in the garage that you could take to the beach like boogie boards, but we had our own chairs/boogie boards, etc. and would not have had enough had we relied on their provisions. I have hesitated to give a good rating because when we were there, it was below average. If everything got repaired, the rating could easily go up to above average or excellent. Hoping I have explained in such a way as to encourage the next guests to call ahead to check on the repairs before making reservations.

Beautiful home

This well-built house is just what we needed for our time on the beach. The beds were comfortable and we had so much space for everyone. The only draw backs were that the pool did not seem to be circulating. This caused dirt and debris to lay on top, however the heater and jets worked well. Also, it had a lot of steps so be careful if you need it to be accessible. If you have a large family, renting this house would be so much fun for all!

Great place for family reunion

This large, luxurious, well-supplied house was perfect for our group of 8 plus 2 dogs. We called maintenance for a few minor items the first day and the technician responded rapidly, was very courteous, and resolved all of our issues. The hot tub controls are on the wall inside the 1st floor bedroom and we couldn't find them. Once located, the pool & hot tub were delightful. The master bath was really over the top; beautiful and the height of luxury. All of the rooms were large and spacious. There were plenty of towels ( except for beach towels; we were advised to bring our own) and kitchen and bath supplies. The closet on the ground floor was packed full of beach needs; chairs, 6+ boogie boards, beach toys, and even a badminton set. I wouldn't have hauled our beach stuff down had I known how well stocked they were! There are 2 full sized refrigerator / freezers and a large wine cooler. The gas range had an issue with the igniter constantly clicking, but it functioned well and hopefully, by the time you read this, it has been fixed. Some of the window shade pulls needed to be replaced, but again, this was a minor inconvenience and may already be fixed. A large, absorbent mat inside the front door would help a lot with the water tracked inside from the pool. The patios were very nice and the outdoor shower and hoses made beach cleanup super easy. There was plenty of parking including a 2 car garage. Access to the beach was very convenient. The neighbors were a bit noisy and filled up our outside trash can as well as parking to prevent the garbage men from picking up the garbage on Saturday morning. Apparently each of them individually brought their own cars. Overall it was a great stay, the facilities and staff were excellent. Quite expensive during the peak season, but worth it for a special occasion!
