INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach. 


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

We love the Tidewater and PCB. Condo was nice and comfortable. Condo was right next to the elevator. Bed was comfortable.

Tidewater

This was our 4th year staying at Tidewater and this was by far not ours best experience. We have never had any problems staying there until this year. Check in was difficult, elevators did not work half the time, and we also lost power on our last night there for for more than 5 hrs

Tidewater condo

The resort itself is very nice. The sandy white beaches go for miles. This specific condo was across from elevators, very noisy. The unit itself was fine for the two of us. There was some signs of aging, such as broken kitchen cabinet doors.

Tidewater RM 606

We had a wonderful stay at Tidewater. Our condo was great! It had everything that we needed, everyone that we encountered were very nice and professional. We used the stairs whenever the elevator’s were too full or busy. Just have to make sure you don’t need to use the elevators during peak times . Only bad review of our room were the mattresses needed to be updated. Not very comfortable but we made it work. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice condo

The condo was nice and clean. Had some updates and was perfect for my family of 5, I would recommend to add some extra cups and plates that weren’t glass . the elevators were absolutely terrible.we had to use the stairs almost every time we left our room thank goodness we were just on the 6th floor. Other than that it was a nice condo and complex .

We felt so at home in this condo!

We loved the condo!! However, the elevators being down the majority of the time was VERY inconvenient. Also, renting chairs and umbrellas on beach was worthless when people were allowed to set up tents, umbrellas, and chairs in front of you! We didn’t enjoy the actual beach at all. Something should be done about that chaos! The condo itself, was PERFECT! Everything else, sub-standard quality!

Nice - but will not stay here again.

The condo was nice. It was clean, but not as clean as I expected. It was nicely decorated, however, the furniture was somewhat old and dirty, not very comfortable, however, we weren’t there much. Definitely needs updating. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, except pantry items. The resort was nice, but expect VERY long wait times for the elevators. We waited more than 20 minutes at times. We definitely will not stay here again.

Overall Nice Property

Overall, the property was as described in the listing. There was plenty of room for myself, husband and 2 kids. Like most other reviews the main issue was the elevators. It’s near impossible to get an elevator to go up or down. We read prior reviews which is why we chose a unit on a lower floor but still having to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs several times a day put a damper on the trip. Especially since we were there for baseball tournaments so we had wagons/coolers/etc that we took to the park each time. I know it isn’t the property managers fault but still affected our stay. One elevator was even down so it made it even worse. Also they were doing road construction right in front of the property. We tried to park in front of the condo to unload and then my husband was going to park the truck but the attendant would not allow us to do this. We had to park in the garage across the street and unload in the parking garage. Of course the main issues is the check in was on the 2nd floor and trying to catch and elevator with all the luggage and items was ridiculous. There is also no lights at the pool at night so it was a bit chaotic when trying to take the kids swimming at night. We couldn’t really see which kids were ours and had to keep walking around to find them to ensure they were safe. It was a bit stressful. Again, overall a nice unit but I wouldn’t want to stay again with my kids. It would be nice for adults I think more so than a family.

Great condo

This was a great condo! Decor was nice throughout, plenty of towels, equipped kitchen. Having a washer and dryer was great! The unit had plenty of space for my spouse as well as 3 kids. Beautiful beachfront view! There are a lot of complaints about the elevators at Tidewater but that is everywhere during peak hours. The only thing that was lacking was a broom and dustpan.

Very nice stay

Enjoyed having conveniences of home. Only downside was elevators being busy and bikers week. Hard to sleep with them right out front of your door. Property management responded to all requests.
