This Sarasota Bungalow retreat is a 3bd 2bth home with a heated salt water pool. Centrally located and near everything Sarasota is famous for - beaches, art scene, restaurants and shopping. You won’t want to leave..

This property is located on the Gulf coast of Florida. Bugs, lizards, frogs and other wildlife are a fact of life down here. We have regular pest control and are always available to address any concerns or questions you may have!

Please note, we do not charge extra for pool heat and while we strive to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee specific temperatures due to factors beyond our control.

Camera disclosure: For your safety there are three cameras located on the property. One Ring Doorbell, one camera facing the driveway and one camera facing the pool/backyard. These are not actively monitored but recordings may be accessed for liability or safety reasons.

Property

The location is great. It is furnished nicely & was very clean. It is an older home, but has been totally renovated. Beautiful kitchen & furnished well. The master bed was very comfortable & attached bath has a great walk-in shower. The pool was wonderful & very clean. The only negative was we thought there were steps into the pool but only has an attached ladder. It would not have been a problem but one of us has a rather severe back condition. A railing into the house would also have been helpful. There is an attached garage but with the washer/dryer there was not room for the car. The owners were wonderful and immediately took care of a few minor issues. We would highly recommend this rental, we loved our stay!

Great location, well maintained, wonderful retreat

My mother was having surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and this was the perfect place for our family during her stay at the hospital. The house itself was wonderful & very clean. Our favorite features - location (very close to hospital & beach), beautiful outdoor area, kitchen & nice appliances, several sitting/family room areas and plenty of towels & essentials etc. I have to say most of all- the owners were amazing. Very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Especially caring when my mother had some complications, I am forever thankful for their kindness during our visit in making a difficult situation easier.

Great place and location!

We had a great stay to ring in the New Year! The location was convenient to get to Siesta Key which we went to each day. We hit downtown Sarasota for New Year’s Eve and had a great time with the carnival rides, pineapple drop and fireworks. The house was great with plenty of room for our family of 5. We cooked in the well stocked kitchen. The outdoor area and pool was nice, but didn’t have much of a chance to use it as we spent all of our nice weather time at the beach.

Darling house

Nice refurbished home, beautiful pool. Close to downtown Sarasota, shopping and restaurants, and close to the beach. The house is right on a busy street, so the cars were noisy at night, but that wasn't a big deal.

Nice place

Nice house close to everything. Unfortunately as soon as we walked through the door, we were hit with a musty smell. At first we thought it was coming from the air conditioner and then after being there a while, we realized the house had a cockroach infestation which made our family very sick. With any amount of time spent in the house. Specially, my husband with his asthma. The homeowner knowing we were coming. Also, should have heated the pool which was ice cold. And wanted us to FaceTime them for directions on how to heat the pool which we refused. Unfortunately, we won’t be back Very disappointed in our stay.

Great central location

This house was perfect for overflow guests that were in for graduation. The central location allowed them to explore the best of Sarasota with ease. They enjoyed being able to cool down in the pool and pond in front is very tranquil. Highly recommend.

Lovely, comfortable, well maintained house near heart of Sarasota

We spent almost a week here with our daughter, her husband, and grand daughter. Really perfect for us and it was as advertised. Master BR had fantastic memory foam king bed (split - with motorized head / foot elevation), full bath, with large rain head shower. 2nd BR for our adult kids, and 3rd BR had bunk bed for 2 year old. Good fully equipped galley kitchen, excellent Keurig K-cup / carafe coffee system. Outdoor grill was in good shape with high heat for steaks, etc.... Pool was clean and owner allows you to adjust temp to your liking. Uses heat pump - so temp takes several hours to move. Location is excellent in terms of access to beaches and downtown stores / restaurants. Not walkable, but everything about a 10-12 min drive at most. Beach towels and some chairs included as well - which was awesome. House is one property in from Rte 41 - Tamiami Trail which is very busy and somewhat noisy. So just be prepared for that. Gabriel and Michelle were super responsive and great in every way.

Nice well located vacation house

House is in great shape. Comfortable beds. Well equiped kitchen and plenty of board games. Very nice pool area. Easy drive to Siesta Key and downtown restaurants. Neighborhood is nice for walking. Owner reachable.

Perfect Getaway

The house was spotless, welcoming, and was in a perfect centralized location close to the beach, restaurants, and quick trips around the area. The pool was perfect with the heater, I spent lots of time floating around reading a book. The whole backyard with the pool and landscaping was a cozy spot to relax. The owners were great and made sure everything was to our liking. I give it 5 stars. Stocked with lots of necessities, too!

Great location

This property was located in a great area, central to downtown Sarasota and beaches. Property was very well-equipped and very clean! We went in December during historic low temps, so I wish the hot tub was in working order, but it wasn’t filled with water. I’m glad there were games inside the home. We played Jenga & Scrabble and had a great time in spite of the cold weather. Overall, I would highly recommend this property! The host was very kind & communication was prompt. Great place!!!

Great House Rental in Sarasota

This home is as pictured and very clean. The communication response with the owner could not have been any better. If you’re looking for a place off the keys, the price was a bargain for a home rental close to beaches, DT, local attractions, and conveniences. One note-the king is actually two twins placed directly beside each other.

sweet spot in sarasota

this location is prime if you are wanting to be central in sarasota. I should know, I grew up in Sarasota. The house is adorable, and well-done. They have thought of it all. Very clean. I really appreciated the amenities. The owners were very helpful and quick to communicate.

Best VRBO ever!

We enjoyed everything about this property! Great location for our visit to Sarasota with easy access to everything. The home was beautiful, gorgeous pool, fit our needs perfectly. We had a couple of questions when first checking in, and the manager, Michelle, answered us almost immediately. We enjoy staying at rental homes more than hotels now, and this home may have been the best VRBO experience yet! Highly recommend.

Grove St property

We loved the house on Grove St. It was clean and comfortable and we loved the heated pool. The hosts answered my questions promptly. While in Sarasota, my car decided to quit so the central location was great for Door Dash and Uber until my car was fixed.

Perfect location and great for kids!

We loved our stay here! The house is well stocked with nice games and books for kiddos. The pool is good sized and clean. The little spa end with benches was perfect for our 3 year old. Really everything we needed was supplied and good quality. The house is decorated super cute and the owners were very responsive and helpful to my questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Arlington area beach house

This house in in a great location.. close to Siesta Key beach and a quick drive to downtown Sarasota. It is also near grocery stores and lots of restaurants. Upon entry in the home- it is very clean, comfy and equipped with everything you could need and more plus a pool (and comfy beds)! We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and the host was easy to contact and made sure to check-in and make sure everything was fine. Highly recommend!

We live in the Boston area and love to go down to Sarasota as much as possible. We updated this home with our family in mind and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Cottage on grove is a great property. It was just renovated and has all new furniture/mattresses 3 really good sized bedrooms and 2 beautiful bathrooms. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped with dishes/cups/silverware and anything else you would need. 2 separate living areas to relax in, with a dining table in the back area. All bedrooms have smart TVs, as well as a massive brand new smart TV in back living area. The pool was just renovated as well as adding a brand new salt water system with heat along with a beautiful new paver patio with outdoor dining. This property is centrally located to just about everything in Sarasota. It’s a 6 minute drive to Siesta Key village, couple more minutes to Siesta Key beach, less than 15 minutes to St Armands Circle and Lido Beach. About 5 minutes to downtown and Main St with all the excellent restaurants, clubs, bars, shops, ice cream and arts. There is plenty to do in Sarasota and you can get there quick no matter what your doing from here.
