Lovely House

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely house with a beautiful view!!! Our host, Chantal, was very good at communicating with us from the start. She doesn’t live in the area and has a wonderful lady, Corine, who showed us everything we needed to know about the house. Corine responded right away to any messages we sent her. She was very kind and speaks perfect English. The house looks exactly like the pictures. But, if you’ll be renting a car, make sure it’s not a large one. The driveway is extremely narrow and steep and there’s a small area to turn the car around when leaving the garage. We often walked places ( there’s a grocery store quite close) but it means coming back all uphill. We are in our 70’s and struggled a little walking up the steep street and the steep stairs to the house. If you’re young, no problem. The house is great and we’re glad we stayed there. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The kitchen is tiny but it had everything a large kitchen would have, full size fridge, 4 burner stove, standard oven and plenty of pots and pans, etc. It even had a tiny dishwasher. There is a lovely veranda and a balcony with a beautiful view!! We would highly recommend this place. We were comfortable with 4 adults. The only issue I had was with the stairs in the house. They seemed a little unsafe from upstairs if you have little children. It would be easy to fall down them if not paying close attention. Otherwise everything was great!!

Dear Stephen, thanks for your message; it was a pleasure communicating with you and I'm very happy that you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for pointing out the issue of the stairs for young children; that's the reason why I specified that the flat is not qualified for families with young children. I'm however surprised by your comment about access to the garage. Indeed, pickups, vans and even small trucks get in and turn around without any problem. I'm sorry for your experience with walking/climbing to the house. This is indeed somewhat steep but it's worth the effort when you discover the view. Look forward to seeing you again!

Appartement très agréable et idéalement situé. Séjour à renouveler !

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement propre, très confortable et bien équipé dans un cadre agréable et reposant. En plus le beau temps était au rendez-vous ! J’ai particulièrement apprécié prendre les petits déjeuner sur la terrasse au son du chant mélodieux des oiseaux. Proche de toute commodité et d’un front de mer joliment aménagé avec une belle promenade s’étendant de Monaco à l’Italie idéal pour le sport du matin ou les balades de l’après-midi. Je recommande fortement et renouvellerai mon expérience chez Chantal.
