Doug and Bambi were so responsive and helpful and their home was amazing. It was in the perfect location and they gave you a whole packet that really helped us prepare for our trip. The pictures don’t do it justice. We loved our stay and this will be a vacation we will never forget. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!

This was the trip of a lifetime! If you're looking for a place with unspoiled beauty, this is it! This was the perfect place to stay. The house and location is 10/10. We enjoyed swimming right in the backyard, kayaking, and walking out on the sand. We saw so much wildlife! We explored tons of amazing places as well, all of which blew us away. Coming home to this house after excursions was so nice. If we weren't in the water, we were on the deck looking at the amazing views. The AC was wonderful too! We plan to come back!

Wonderful home, location, and owners. Doug and Bambi are very responsive and thoughtful in the care of the home. The house is beautiful, well-kept, and well-equipped for outside activities on the amazing water right outside your door. The house has its own beach when the tide is right and while the house right next door was occupied while we were there, our stay still felt very private. The water is shallow and great for paddleboarding and kayaking and the sand bars cool to see and explore. The backroads to the house are rough as many have said in reviews before us and we agree that a Jeep is best to navigate. We aren't ones to leave the house/beach when on vacation but when we did, restaurants, groceries, etc., were within reasonable distance and had what we needed. We were very happy with our decision to stay at Bama Breeze and would definitely recommend.

This property was absolutely breathtaking! The views and water access were amazing. The house had everything we needed, was beautiful, comfortable, and close to everything we wanted to do on the island. Doug and Bambi were the best! They provided us with detailed information about the island, helpful hints, and responded quickly to any questions we had. We had the best vacation and will definitely stay here again!

Excellent place to stay. Clean and cool. Lots of supplies (kayaks, paddleboards, life vests, etc.) available. Great kitchen appliance and utensil availability. I would highly recommend getting a large 4wd vehicle though since the roads are pretty rough! Great communication from hosts as well!

Bama Breeze is located in an area of Exuma that is one of our favorites to stay in because it's private, swimmable, and offers stunning views all day long. And Bama Breeze was a great house with all of those locational benefits! We loved the swings and very easy water access with plenty of seating if you wanted to stay dry. The house itself was super clean and had a good initial stock of supplies to get us started. We did have one issue with an AC unit, and the owner was incredibly responsive and had someone able to fix it same day on a schedule that didn't interrupt our vacation at all. I do think some of the other guests have been using a few of the amenities a bit roughly, with one of the kayaks taking on water. I have no doubt the owners are all over this. If you are looking for a great spot on the south side, I would highly recommend Bama Breeze!

We had an incredible stay at Bama Breeze. The sand bar that appears in front of the property was amazing, and we walked all the way to the island you can see, which was more than a mile away. The house was clean, AC was cold, and everything worked great. The road getting there was rough but our small rental SUV had no trouble making it. The hosts were very receptive to messages before and during our stay, which was very helpful. We would love to come back to the Exumas and would definitely stay at Bama Breeze again.

Home was beautiful and space was as advertised. Hosts were responsive and helpful in planning our stay in Exuma as we were not familiar with the area. The walk out beach with access to the beautiful blue water is priceless. The kayaks and paddle boards are an added bonus as is the shaded deck area looking out to the ocean. The space was perfect for our family of 4. The roadway to the house is rough - but we knew that prior to booking and our hosts helped in recommending a rental company that could provide a dependable vehicle to navigate the area. This island is a hidden gem and I am so glad we were able to find the perfect home to experience all it had to offer.

Stunning property! The house was clean and as charming as advertised. The hosts were extremely responsive and check in was simple. The beach was beautiful, relaxing, and totally private. Low tide in the middle of the afternoon allows you to walk out to a huge sandbar to explore, while high tide in the morning and evening is better for swimming. The water level never rose high enough that we couldn’t touch, which was great for our kids. The roads leading to all properties in the vicinity are rough, so be sure to rent an SUV. A jeep would be best but the Buick SUV we got was fine too!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our time there and would love to go back one day. However, be sure to rent an SUV or a truck because the roads are bad on the south end of Exuma.

Just spent 9 amazing nights at Bama Breeze. What an amazing property! The hosts Doug and Bambi are so gracious and responsive. They really insured that we were comfortable and had a good time. And that was easy to do. This house has all you need for a good time outside…kayaks, paddleboards, corn hole, hook and ring game, bbq grill, fire pit. We had never stayed on this side of the island and thought the rocky shoreline and the lush vegetation was spectacular. What a surprise at low tide when we found that we could walk for miles. We walked all the way to Mosquito Cay. Pretty amazing!
