This place was a great find for a family getaway. It's in a newer development so it's about 10 minutes to food/shopping. The resort community was small and easy to walk over to the pool. At the time of our stay, mini golf was 6/person. Plenty of utensils, pots, pans and dishes and we found the kitchen to be clean and well organized. The home was as described however some wear and tear on appliances were noticeable. When we pulled sheets off we noticed some stains on sheets and mattress cover that were not from us. Our only complaints would be the homes were built cheaply. The toilets are loud and the doors do not close quietly either so if someone is using the toilet down the hall or close the door you'll hear it. Overall though we had a great stay!
Property fit our family perfectly. There was plenty of hot water which was so nice. We also enjoyed the hot tub. It was easy to check in and check out.
This property was very clean and in a wonderful location. The community amenities were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tub and miniature golf.
We really enjoyed our time here! The hot tub was great and there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. I loved that there was plenty of dishes and even an extra folding table and chairs!
It was a great place to stay. I loved the layout of the rooms and how there was room for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. It was fun to mini golf, and we spent a lot of time in the hot tub spa. It wasn't far from other activities we wanted to do. We'd love to stay there again!

Overall, we loved our stay at Desert Splash! The kitchen was well stocked, and we were impressed with how many kid plates and utensils there were. There was also a high chair in the pantry and a couple pack n plays in a downstairs closet available to use. The hot tub was very comfortable, and the pool nearby was a big hit! We loved the lazy river. The house itself had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the check-in process was very easy.We did come across a couple issues during our stay. The upstairs arcade was not available due to a firmware issue, and the carpets and air filters could use a deeper cleaning (which is a simple maintenance fix). We also had issues with the sturdiness of the upstairs king bed frame, and a fire sprinkler cover fell off in the downstairs king bedroom. We communicated these issues with the host and were assured they would be fixed for future guests! As a suggestion for future stays, a few toys/books for kids would be amazing! A couple baby gates would be wonderful as well as the stairs inside were pretty steep. We were overall pleased with our stay and it suited our needs.
We had 17 people comfortably stay in this spacious home. We loved the access to the HOA pools and lazy river. We were just 15-30 minutes from all the local attractions and sites.
The house was beautiful and the location was great for visiting the local state parks and Zion. Travel was 30-60 minutes which was perfect for our group. The only issue we had was the house was on the highway and the traffic noise was very loud.
Our experience was wonderful. Home was large with plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved all the swimming amenities as well as the private spool. Home was clean and well maintained. The only thing that might have been a nice addition would be maybe some board games and a few toys, otherwise it was great! We would recommend it for sure.
It’s a little far away from from things like gas stations—10 minutes is all—but we loved the home, it accommodated all of us well, the pool complex is amazing, and a lifeguard is on duty, too! We’ll be back.
The spool had little floaties all over, 2 LYN tobacco pouches floating. We did not use after the first day.

I am sorry you had those items in your spool. I wish you would have called and we would have been right over to clean them up. We have a professional cleaning company clean the spool multiple times a week. I apologize again for that. Hope to have you another time

Mostly great stay
This was mostly a great stay. I felt like the home was a little dirty. The kitchen and and bathrooms were good, but little things like the coffee tables/end tables felt dirty. Kind of nit picky, but the pantry door and kitchen walls had some really dirty spots.
We did appreciate how well the kitchen utensils and plates were stocked. There were 20 of us, and even if we didn’t run the dishwasher between meals, there were plenty of plates/silverware.
Another issue we had, is we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. It took the contact 4 hours to respond to my request for more. By that time we had to go to the store for more. I wish they would have left a couple replacement rolls.
We booked through VRBO. When all was said and done, we had a $450 VRBO fee that wasn’t listed in the listing. That was a bit frustrating. If you put your property on VRBO, I’d expect you to know what that fee is and list it properly.
