Family Reunion

We had family come from Maine, Tennessee, Illinois, & Florida. We chose this location because it is described as "on a lake". Actually, the house is 3 blocks from the lake and has no lake access. We had many beautiful views of the lake as we drove by it, but the lake was only accessible for private owners. Also, the pool at the house was smaller than the picture suggests, and the rock waterfalls shown in the photos do not function at all. On the day we checked in, the pool water was green, and the bottom of the pool was not visible at all. The property owner came by, per our request, to help clean the pool water and explain the chemical situation. Thank goodness we have a Spanish-speaking family member to help us translate the Spanish-speaking homeowners who speak very little English. It took a full day and a half until the pool water was swimmable enough, but still not as clear and enticing as one would hope. On the third day, the pool was acceptable to us. The air conditioning was not evenly distributed in all rooms. On the day prior to check-out day, the air conditioning stopped working altogether which made for a hot and restless sleep. The owner did send someone out in the middle of the night to repair it, and all was good in the morning. We enjoyed the pool table and the toys and games for the children, and the large dining area, which accommodated all of us. The futons are not comfortable at all for sleeping, so we are grateful that we brought our own air mattresses.

Wonderful Wedding Family Visit Location

We had a great visit during our Son's wedding and getting together with family was awesome at this location. Thank you for a terrific opportunity - your place was perfect.

Perfect for our visit to florida for our Grandmother's 100th birthday celebration on

Plenty of space, home-like ammenities, and loved getting sun by the pool when in between outings to visit family. Made for a great retreat after long days reuniting! Close to necessities. Would stay again and just may next year.

Hotel amenities with space of a house

Easy check-in, plenty of space and things to do rain or shine! The kiddos were drawn to the pool and didn't have to worry about traffic in the front. Made great memories and will be staying here again when I'm in town or need a quiet retreat!

My young adult children and I visiting my parents in Mt. Dora

We absolutely LOVED our stay. The weather was in the 60's, low 70's so we spent most of the time visiting in the heated pool and hot tub. This house had so much room!! This was my first time using Vrbo and it was easy! The hosts got right back to me when I let them know we arrived- I didn't need to contact them at all because they left notes in most rooms for any questions you may need addressed. I will 100% try and book this home whenever I visit! Thank you!!!!

Family vacation base

We rented the house to have a base of operations for the family while visiting my mother at Christmas. The accommodations were satisfactory although the house is older and in need of maintenance. The beds were also older and several of my family members complained of sore backs after a few nights. The kitchen is well-equipped and served our needs well. The hot tub jets did not work very well making it more of a large bath tub than a true hot tub. The location was quiet and convenient, unless you count the birds and squirrels making noise. Overall, I was satisfied given the price and my biggest recommendation for the owner is to replace the beds.

My Wedding Weekend!

The house was beautiful. The checkin process was simple! My bridesmaids and I had an amazing time! 8 of us slept comfortably in the house!! We had the proper space for our massage and facials to be set up in the living room! I’d definitely stay at this house again!!

Serenity Indeed!

The house is open and spacious, located at the end of a street in a quiet neighborhood. The setting is beautiful. My family enjoyed the swimming pool and the little pool table. The kitchen, dining room, and living room all flow in one large, open space. We were in Eustis for my mother's memorial service. It was the perfect place for my family to unwind. Claudia responded immediately to all questions. I recommend this house to families.

Vacation Home

We loved staying at this location. The host answered all questions and concerns in a timely manner. She was great!! The house was fully stocked with everything we could have needed. (laundry detergent, towels, condiments, toiletries) We loved walking the neighborhood and sitting on the back porch.

Perfect house for our vaca!

We just happened to book the week after hurricane Ian. Claudia was very communicative and dealt with all our concerns. The house was in the perfect for our group. Close to our family in Mt Dora and easy drive to Disney.

Florida vacation

First let me say the house was true to its pictures. It is very lovely. Ita large enough for the large family we had on vacation with us. Claudia is an excellent host. She answers back right away. The pool was very clean and the hottub was also clean as well. The house had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Health and safety

For 6 weeks we were not able to use the pool, due to algae, debris, cloudy water, high ph, black and green mold on screens and pool and deck. Exterior of property totally unkempt and embarrassing for visitors. Although owner was contacted and we requested vacating property, nothing was corrected at all until the last 3 days when a pool technician was hired and landscape maintenance arrived to “try” and clean . Additionally VRBO refused to assist despite pictures and memorandums we sent to headquarters……we vacated the property early, despite expenses incurred. This was not a vacation property as portrayed on website. It was a very unhappy and expensive experience.

Check in was easy & so was communication. The property was clean & the uniqueness of it made it beautiful. It was nice and private as well. The owner was responsive too. The hot water went out & within a few short hours they had it fixed & tank replaced. I'd recommend this home definitely.
