About this property

Gorgeous vintage home built in 1915 but recently upgraded with modern amenities. Home has a beautiful lake front view with an old style front porch facing the lake. Very close to local shopping and restaurants. 1 hour from Orlando attractions, Daytona Beach, and Orlando International Airport. Lake Umatilla is a public boat-ramp lake access with excellent bass and bream fishing. 20 minutes from the Ocala National Forest. Home features a large outside gathering area which could be used for parties, weddings, or simply play corn hole games (provided). No pool but 10 minutes away from the Eustis Aquatic Center with a splash park and Olympic size pool right on Lake Eustis. Close to Alexander Springs and Wekiva Falls.

Wonderful view

This home reminds me of a quaint New England cape cod. They thought of everything you need to make it a home and that’s what it felt like . We loved our stay and it’s a wonderful house with plenty of space for a family gathering. The view of the lake is beautiful. Wait until you sit on the veranda and see the sunset and sunrise. We may have to return for a week of solid relaxation. Comfortable and inviting home and the host was available for any questions. Highly recommend and would rent again.

Hated to leave

We all loved the outdoor space, whether you wanted sun or shade it was nice to be outside and the view of the lake made it really enjoyable with plenty of room to entertain. Centrally located with lots of options for day trips. The host is very accomodating with many ammenities provided. We lacked for nothing. Comfortable beds and the primary bedroom and bath is especially nice.

Beautiful Home!

My husband and I can’t say enough about this property!! Love love everything about the house! Every space was well thought out! Rooms are large with comfortable beds , kitchen is absolutely beautiful! Of course the porch facing the lake and the outdoor space is incredible ! We wish we could have stayed longer ! I can live in this house! Totally my style ! I think it would be great for a family celebrating Thanksgiving or Christmas together . I already know where I would want the tree!
