High up in the hills of Vista sits an amazing, quiet, spacious, half-acre residence with incredible views of the hills of Vista and the city lights below at night. Custom House was built in December 2017. Its fully furnished with patio furniture, big screen TVs, full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and full private bath.

Included on property is a solar panel heated pool and hot tub. The house is gated for privacy with lush landscaping and beautiful trees like Pindo palms, Queen palms, Phoenix Roebelenii, Sago, Plumeria, and many other exotic plants. With many places to hang out, it is easy to host 20 plus guests without crowding on Patio and open yard

Three large TV's with high speed internet. Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig and coffee pot. Kitchen includes crock pot, waffle iron, Kitchen Aid mixer, blender, and highchair. High end refrigerator equipped with filtered water and ice. Stocked kitchen with condiments like sugar, salt, pepper and other spices. Bathroom stocked with shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer. Hall closet includes iron and ironing board. Laundry room has new washer and dryer equipped with detergent, paper towels, tissue. Pak n Play crib available and much more for a fabulous stay!

We’re centrally located to Legoland, Disneyland, The Moonlight Amphitheatre, beaches, breweries, Sea World, World famous Safari Park and Other attractions and restaurants.

Great stay in Vista!

We really enjoy our stay. Manuel was very helpful and kind during our stay. We were a family of 34 adults and kids. We slept comfortably and the spaces were big enough for everyone. Very clean and well stocked. Would definitely come back and recommend it.

A wonderful thanksgiving

My family really enjoyed this home. 4 of us with two dogs stayed at the house and then we welcomed 6 more adults (total of 10) and 2 small children for our 2021 thanksgiving dinner. It was a wonderful time. The home owner/host was great.

Sunrise and Sunset!

Juan is great and super cool to communicate with!The landscaping is gorgeous all around the back and pool area! Great space for enjoying the beautiful California weather!Amazing spots on the property for viewing both the sunset and sunrise. We sat out there every night!15-20 minutes from the beach and downtown Carlsbad!

Great Spot!

Property was just what was needed. Manuel was a great host & communicated with me throughout. He gave me a virtual tour & an in person tour which was appreciated because I needed to ensure I configured the room arrangements with my family & friends properly. I’ll definitely be booking again in the future when in the area & need to host a large group of family & friends.

Enjoyed our stay but a few problems

I originally booked the property because of the price for our group and the pool. After asking to book was told by the host that the pool was not available. He worked with us on price but I was still disappointed. Posted as having AC. There are 2 split units, one in the common space, but not in the downstairs bedroom, and one unit upstairs in only one of the 2 bedrooms and that one was not blowing cool air, upstairs rooms on 85º days. Hard to sleep, but it was a weekend the host couldn't get anyone to fix it. This menopausal woman had trouble sleeping. Luckily my adult kids stayed in the warmest room and are not complainers. For the size of the house it is a bit odd. No actual living room, just a chaise in the kitchen area. Nice outdoor deck, though. Completely separate dining room. Nice room, but once again, no air in that room. Most of the time, probably not a problem, but it was hot the weekend we stayed there. .Thank goodness it cooled down at night or we would have left. I also had to contact the host because the listing says bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom, but pictured, and actually in the room are 2 queen beds. The host is new to the property, so hopefully he can fix some of the issues but I would definitely inquire about these issues before booking.
