Kimo's Getaway

This a very private duplex. Your host lives upstairs. Your's is a new two bedroom, one bath unit, with a full sized kitchen and adjoining dining area. . There is a large lanai viewing the ocean with plenty of relaxing chairs and an outside dining area.
You will be a 7 minute walk to Honl's beach and 22 minutes to downtown Kona.
Infants (persons two years and younger) are considered guests.

Best part of our trip

We LOVED this property! This was our probably 10th time on the island and we’ve stay so many different places. We all agreed this was by far our favorite spot. So relaxing and convenient and Jim was the most excellent host ever! Can’t wait to return next year!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Exceptionally clean, well stocked, quiet neighborhood, and a very nice view from the lanai. But beware, there is no a/c. We missed that on the listing and the surprise was not pleasant. But the owner is great and the fans in the house helped us through.

OMG - the best bnb ever

Our group of four were floored by this residence: the host greeted us and what an extraordinarily beautiful home upon entering! Very spacious and a convenient location. Will definitely choose this place again!

A Week By The Beach

We were in Kona for a week. The property was clean and well equipped. Jim was a great host and was very respectful of our privacy. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and in the evening you could sit on the lanai and watch the sunset and feel the ocean breeze! A little slice of heaven!

Smart flat with a sea view.

This is a very nice new upstairs downstairs duplex with upstairs owner access on one side and downstairs guest access on the other side so you do't get in each others way. It's a very smart open plan design will executed with quality materials throughout. Modern bathroom and well equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and brand new appliances. Jim, the owner is a cordial host. It's close to the center of tourist activities, easy highway access and grocery stores. I would definitely visit again.

Wonderful getaway on the Big Island

We had a fantastic stay at Jim’s apartment on the Kona coast. The amenities of the property were as listed, and made for a very comfortable stay for our family of three adults staying on the Big Island. We especially enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the outdoor patio, and the spacious yard. Jim was a fantastic host, with great communication and was easily accessible as needed. I would recommend to any friends, and hope to be able to stay again.on a future visit to Hawaii!

Better than imagined

Jim was a beyond welcoming host- he met us after unloading our car and showed us all around the property. It’s well-stocked with beach gear and towels. The kitchen was fun to cook in and Jim had all of the necessary equipment on hand. The outdoor shower was a dream come true. My only regrets are not staying longer and forgetting to leave a six pack formUim :)

So Awesome!!

This place was so Awesome, you can't go wrong here. We came to Kona for our 40th Anniversary and this place couldn't have been better. It was wonderful and peaceful for the most part. You can hear the neighbors and the traffic but the view and the room were so awesome the closeness to other people didn't really matter. The host was wonderful and informative about the area and we will definitely book this room if available the next time we come. No AC but at night it cools enough with the windows open and the fans going to be very comfortable. Can't say enough wonderful things about this room.
