Please put gas in the golf cart before departure. There is a gas station out at Pebbly Beach. Thank you.
Please clean the BBQ and turn off the propane tank. Thank you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Memorial Day Stay

Place was amazing. Views amazing. Can't wait to come back. Just caution that stairs are challenging for older people and also carrying luggage other than that it was an incredible stay.

Great place with an amazing view and quick access to the pool and other amenities. Drive into town is about 5-7 by golf cart. Host was sometimes slow to respond. Otherwise a good experience all around.

This was our first time renting this property and by and large everything was perfect. View and area was awesome. Grandkids loved snorkeling and time with cousins. Would definitely book again!

SUPERB

This property is our favorite home away from home. We have traveled here twice now and loved it just as much both times. The view from the balcony is amazing. The sound of the waves against our private beach is soothing. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is nicely stocked with most any gadget you would need. The condo also comes with some "toys" you can take to the courts, pool, beach , etc. Its a nice little bonus. Having the golf cart with the condo is a life saver (and a money saver.) It's an essential part of seeing the most the island has to offer. Only down side in the hike up the stairs. LOL. Its a fantastic work out every day as you come home. However it makes getting to the room a bit difficult when you have a bad back or are recovering from cancer treatments. But the comfort of the condo makes the climb worth every step.

Not a lot of businesses open in February, but also no crowds. Friendly people and relaxed pace.Beautiful views from the deck on a gem of an island. Golf cart was a real bonus.

Breathtaking views

I’m so glad we were able to stay here again. We loved it so much last year, we booked our stay for this year before we had even checked out. The condo is comfy and had everything we needed. The views are spectacular! We loved eating all our dinners on the balcony. The host, Amber, was very kind in her effort to keep our vacation a great experience despite a hurricane delaying our arrival. Great host, great condo, great location! Highly recommend!

Incredible views

Absolutely beautiful location. Best spot on the island if you ask me. Ideal for families or romantic stay if you prefer not being in the center of town. This property was tastefully appointed with classic seashore decor and stocked with everything you could possibly desire; complete kitchen, board games, ample beach towels, comfortable furniture, and a golf cart for transportation. The manager for our stay was professional, friendly, and quick to respond when we had questions. Absolutely loved it and will definitely return.

This home has a beautiful view and was very clean. It could use more lamps in the main area as we were visiting in February and it was dark early. Our one big complaint was the hot tub at the property was just slightly warm…it would have been nice at the end of the day to relax in a hot tub.

Wonderful last minute getaway

The place is just as advertised. It is well stocked and well maintained and very clean. Beds are very comfortable and it has a large very comfy couch as well. The views are incredible. We saw dolphins daily from the balcony. When we arrived the golf cart had a flat but Amber was quick to respond and had it fixed within 2 hours on a Monday after 5pm which is no small feat. The kids loved it and we would definately return

Gorgeous views

The condo was beautiful. Beach vibes throughout and thoughtfully decorated. The host was very responsive. We loved the property and all that it has to offer. We just wish our stay was longer. We met the loveliest families at the pool. Everyone was very friendly. The brand new 6 person golf cart was one of our favorite things. The one thing I wish I knew before I booked was that it's 5 flights of stairs up to the condo which was a challenge with luggage and our elderly dad. All in all, though, we loved our stay and the views more than made up for any challenges.

Stunning views and great location

We stayed as a family of 3 adults and 2 children. The villa was well appointed with plenty of space for everyone and exactly as in the pictures. The views from the balcony, living room and main bedroom were absolutely stunning! You can hear the ocean from the living room and main bedroom which is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The location within the complex is super close to the pool and just a short distance from the Hamilton Cove beach. We thoroughly enjoyed BBQing dinner in the evenings and there was ample propane without worry of running out. Probably our favorite feature was the awesome, brand new, 6 seat electric golf cart that came along with the villa! It was super convenient and tons of fun driving the short distance into Avalon. A golf cart is a must and this was probably the nicest one on the island. We loved this villa and would definitely rent it again.

Hamilton Cove 33

We had a wonderful stay at Hamilton Cove 33. The communication with the manager was very prompt and helpful. The views are amazing and the golf cart really helps get you around town. The condo was quiet which is nice due to most of the island not having AC. The unit would cool down around 8:00 with the sea breeze. Some reviews noted broken AC but there is no AC in this rental. We really enjoyed swimming in the ocean but don’t forget your water shoes since it’s all rock. If you have mobility issues do not stay at this unit. No elevator and there is four flights of stairs. Even the most in shape person will be winded. This unit is best suited to 4 people. There’s a couch pull out but like most pull out couches coils can be felt through mattress and bay window is not completely covered with shades but honestly you’ll want all windows and back doors open to let the cool air in during the night. Overall, we would not hesitate to use any of these condos again.

The view is wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the decorations in the condo are fun and ocean related. It was great to have the 6 person golf cart to go to and from Avalon. There is nice snorkeling right in front of the condominium and there is a small hose near the water where you can rinse off after being in the ocean. In addition, there are plenty of amenities at Hamilton Cove, including tennis courts, a little putting course and a small little playground for children.

We stayed at Hamilton Cove for a wedding. The property was great! The views are amazing and spent countless hours on the balcony taking it all in. Condo had everything you needed and the host provided all the information you need from getting on the boat, luggage storage, things to do. Host was responsive and was even able to accommodate us getting our little one an early nap on arrival before rehearsal dinner. Would definitely stay here again as it’s nice to be in your private cove away from the hustle of downtown. Property is quiet and well kept. Steps away from the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Catalina.

Misleading!

The location and views from the property were absolutely beautiful and is the reason I am being generous with the 3 stars. Unfortunately the condition in the interior of the property was not as pictured or described. There were a lot of outdated and dilapidated parts, especially in the bathrooms and bedrooms. With the amount we paid and the unit being described as luxury we were very disappointed with the condition of the place. Broken outdoor chairs, broken and extremely old ironing board, faulty iron, floors falling apart, rusty and moldy bathrooms, weak shower water pressure. One bathroom’s door gave us zero privacy because it wouldn’t close. Walls full of stains, closets full of junk, questionable cleaning, hairs in showers and floors, crooked “art”, very outdated bathrooms without any guides for hot or cold water, etc. There was a lot of noise from workers and landscapers cutting trees every day from very early in the morning. Also the golf cart was extremely weak and slow. For us this was supposed to be a special occasion but instead I had to apologize to my in-laws about the condition of the place! P.S. you will have to climb a lot of steep stairs to get to the unit.
