The property was very ready for us in all phases, clean, well stocked on linens, kitchenware, thoughtful decor, very good storage, use of space. The appropriately sized gas fireplace is amazing if you like to keep it cool in the bedroom, warm in the main area.
The Roost at the Southerner is a cute, comfy, clean cottage, cozily nestled in a corner of paradise. It had everything we needed and more, including a heated bathroom floor. We could easily see ourselves living there. Looking forward to our next stay!
The Roost was Perfect! Clean, cozy and just a few blocks from town so easy walking on sidewalks to get to town. I would stay at The Roost again and would highly recommend it to a couple traveling to this area. The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and we had everything we needed.
We had a wonderful stay. The pictures don’t really do The Roost justice. It is a really cute cottage with everything you’ll need. It’s close to all the fun in Saugatuck!
My husband and I (and our doodle) had a lovely stay at the Roost! The Cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is great and downtown is easily accessible on foot or a short car ride.
This was a cute cottage with everything we needed. The host was super responsive. We walked to town. There is so much to do. It was very clean and pet friendly.
If you are considering booking this cottage, the answer is YES!!! So cozy, comfortable and immaculate!! We stayed two nights in December with our small dog. I cannot empathize how clean the property was. All the details were well thought out. This included the heated bathroom floor and the heater in the bathroom which provided warmth during our very damp stay. The huge bath towels, high end bath products and great smelling hand soaps were also a bonus. The bed, loveseat and chair were extra comfy as well. Everything is updated and relatively new. It really is a beautiful place. It was quiet and just plain lovely! Book it now!
