Two bedroom house with the best patio in town,have the vacation of your dreams.



Relax and unwind in our wonderful house. You will feel right at home in our comfy beds after a long day at the beach. Enjoy your shower using all Aveda products, then share a nice bottle of wine on our patio ( you wont forget it ). Then walk to one of the two 3 star restaurants at the end of our street, Everyday People Café and Wild Dog, you cant miss with both. End your day by taking in the sunset at Oval or Douglas beach.

Great Getaway!

This home had everything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was awesome. We have stayed in some larger and more expensive rentals with our extended family that were far less equipped! We highly recommend this home!

Cozy getaway!

We highly recommend this home! It is tucked away on a quiet street in Douglas, just minutes away from historic Saugatuck. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We absolutely loved our relaxing getaway!

Hidden Gem

This was the perfect place for our stay-great location just a block from downtown Douglas and walkable to Saugutuck. Loved the space with two bedrooms and bathrooms and the outdoor patio area was used daily. This was one of the well best stocked places we have stayed in-really appreciated the Avada hair and body products as an extra!

Great Location & Space

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The house was clean, it was easy to check-in. I loved the yard for our dogs to run and that everything we needed was in walking distance. The beds were very comfortable. I had a slight issue with the tv after a small power outage and the host was very helpful and communicative. We will definitely recommend this space to others and hopefully stay again.

Wonderful Vacation

My husband and I, together with our dog, had a wonderful week long vacation. The house was lovely, comfortable and allowed us the opportunity to feel like part of the community of Douglas. We were walking distance to restaurants, galleries and shops. Saugatuck and the beaches were nearby. We slept well, ate well, and had a great time. We hope to go back.

Perfect stay in Douglas

Ronel is a super host who made the experience convenient, fun and welcoming to us and our dogs. Very comfortable place and patio is perfect! Convenient to all the local galleries, eateries, dog park and marinas. Short walk to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck made it easy to access all recommended places to visit. Aveda products provided are a nice touch. Highly recommend.

This is a terrific place to stay in the Douglas - Suagatuck area

This is a very comfortable, quiet, well-appointed two bedroom home with not one, but two backyards, one of which is entirely enclosed with a handsome fence, of particular relevance to those with four - legged quadrapeds! The house is beautifully maintained and the home includes everything one needs for dining in or entertaining. It is also two blocks from the lovely bars, galleries, and restaurants of Douglas. We will be back!!!

Wonderful location and property

This was our first trip to Douglas/Saugatuck so we had LOTS of questions for Ronel about the property, location, etc. The house was terrific - perfect amount of space, very clean, super location. Ronel was so helpful and responsive to all of our questions - and we had a lot! He had four very nice beach chairs and two coolers which helped us so much - it was great to not have to pack those items. Our dog loved the fenced side yard and we took walks in the neighborhood every day. Douglas is a charming town and this house is just a couple of blocks from a great coffee shop, restaurants, and shops. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was a wonderful home very close to downtown Douglas and a short drive to Saugatuck. It had everything we needed including being very accommodating to our two dogs. The owner, Ronel, was quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. I highly recommend this home with its cute, private patio and a large, private backyard.

The house is better than the photos show. Cute side patio to let the dogs out easily. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, very quiet and friendly neighborhood. One block walking distance to an excellent coffee shop with good food. The location of this home is perfect as home base to visit Saugatuck, Holland, and South Haven! Minutes away from Oval Beach, many delicious restaurants in Saugatuck. Lovely views of many marinas, the Kalamazoo River and Lake Michigan. In the early evening, before sunset, near Mt Baldhead lookout, there are so many deer in the front lawns of homes, it was awesome to see! We even saw a deer across the street from this home in a neighbor's yard! We had a fabulous stay at this home in Douglas, Michigan and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed for a week in September and it was perfect for us. The home had everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing stay. The location is fantastic. Not only is there so much to do in the area but Douglas and the neighborhood has great "walkabiity" and is super dog friendly. If we are ever back in the area, we will stay here again.

Unlike so many rentals we’ve stayed in, this one looks just like the pictures and is everything it claims to be. The minute we arrived it felt like home. I was immediately impressed by the tasteful decor, real furniture, and well stocked kitchen; my husband was just happy that I didn't spend the first hours of our vacation scrubbing a bathroom or sink. There is plenty space for two, and two more could be easily accommodated. It’s a short walk to the eateries/shops on Center Street, but most nights we enjoyed home made meals on the peaceful and private patio. Host is an excellent communicator and replied to my dumb questions quickly. I am already missing the king bed in the master bedroom and looking forward to hopefully returning next year.

This was the perfect place for us to stay during my son’s wedding weekend at The Ivy House in Saugatuck! Very clean! Relaxing atmosphere!! The neighborhood was awesome and walking distance to the quaint Douglas downtown. Downtown Saugatuck is a two minute drive.

Great location

This property is situated near downtown Douglas. Walkable to restaurants, a coffee shop, art galleries, and Kalamazoo lake, which is a huge bonus. The outdoor patio/zen garden is was wonderful and peaceful. The backyard area was a little overgrown and needs some love, but enjoyed it regardless. The house was what I expected and it was mostly clean, but could really use a deep clean. There were cobwebs and dust lining fixtures, artwork and doorframes. The property owner is very communicative and I’m sure if I messaged him about the cleaning he would’ve sent someone over. Overall, we did have a good stay and these little things did not hinder anything. Honestly, if the backyard was spruced up and the master bedroom got an updated look it would elevate this place so so much!
