Beautiful Farmhouse in Ridgefield

Beautiful farmhouse, 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms with a fully fenced backyard. Fully remodeled with upgrades, new kitchen and appliances. Located in a quiet neighborhood close to major roads and stores. Perfect place to social distance.

A simple, farm style life that is still close to all the local amenities.

The backyard is fully fenced for the safety of your children. A fenced outdoor kennel is made for your pets, conveniently next to the house. Pets are allowed with an additional $150 cleaning fee.

Equipped with a full kitchen including all the utensils you need to make the perfect meal (pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, toaster). House includes three bedrooms, two baths. One bedroom downstairs has a king bed and a full bathroom. Upstairs room has a full bed with a futon, and a bonus bedroom that has one twin bed with a walk-in closet. Upstairs bathroom is spacious and has a bathtub. No parties allowed on the premises. Downstairs offers an open space concept with a living room, kitchen and a dining room. It provides all the essentials for your short or long term stay. Baby gear such as pack n play, crib or high chair, are available for an additional fee. No AC at the house but fans for each rooms are provided.

This newly renovated farmhouse has a large front porch, big front yard and driveway right in front of the house. Super convenient for unpacking and unloading groceries.

Note: the house is located on a large acreage lot; however, a separate area in the back of the property has a facility that's rented out separately. Therefore, light traffic might be coming through in the evenings, mostly weekends.

The house was really nice. The nieghborhood was so beautiful. The house is very minimal but very clean. The beds were comfotable rooms were a really nice size. The complaint i do have is: AC was not hooked up it was 92 degrees when we got there at 5pm rhe upstairs was unbarable and the wet damp smell coming from the laundry. Also be careful alot of people use the main road as a raceway. I was taking my dog for a walk and almost got hit. But over all our stay was nice and enjoyable. Thank you

A workweek getaway

Photos and description are exactly what the house is. Convenient location and very quiet! Heavy rain the entire week had my dogs bringing the mud and water in but easy cleaning as everything needed was in the house! Great place to stay and plan on returning next year.

The house was beautiful. The location was great. It was a nice, quiet and secluded location. Loved the front porch. That was the reason my family chose the house because of the area. My family check out early due to the house was cold and you are not allowed to adjust the thermostat per instructions. There were times of no hot water. It would be nice if the house had ceiling fans. Also the downstairs bathroom restroom is small and so is the shower. The remote to the TV in the living room barely worked. Overall stay was ok. The weather in Washington was great

Family Trip

The property was exactly as described and well setup for a rental. We were at the house for 2 weeks and enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Beds/mattresses/pillows were well chosen. Basic necessities were provided including quality cookware, towels, etc. I really appreciated the communication with the owner regarding any questions that came up during our stay. We chose the house for its proximity to WSU Vancouver, but found that it was also a convenient drive to downtown Vancouver, Vineyards, shopping, and plenty of parks/hikes. We enjoyed all of these and quiet evenings at "home" on the porch with a view of the mountains

Quiet, Cute Little House

I've never been the first to rate a property before. I have used VRBO exclusively when traveling for 10 years now and usually shy away from new VRBO rentals, but decided to take a chance on this one. I'm glad I did. It is off a quiet street in a beautiful location. We spent many nights on the front porch gazing off into a mix of pasture, mountains, clouds, and blue sky. We also barbequed in the back yard which is completely fenced and affords privacy. The backyard is easily accessible down the hall. The house was very clean, and communication with the owner quick. Parking is right in front of the house making it very easy to haul in luggage and groceries. Myself, my husband, and our adult son stayed for eight days and were so glad we chose this location. I am kind of a picky renter, and having traveled various places and rented VRBO's many times, there are comforts and little things I note. The things I am listing next are not negative by any means, (as I would stay here again and gave this cute little house a 5 star rating), but things that would help future renters choose if this rental is right for them, and to give the owner some suggestions. *The downstairs bed is extremely soft, I loved it, but my handicapped husband has a bad back and it was uncomfortable for him. If you are looking for a firm mattress, the downstairs bedroom is not for you. *My son, who is 5'9, said the larger upstairs bedroom bed was short and feels it is more appropriate for children than adults, and he rated it a 7/10 for comfort. *There is exactly 6 plates, cups, glasses, bowls, and a set of 6 silverware. If you plan on having guests over, you may have to improvise. *There are no games, books, or a guest book to sign, etc. *The cable TV is confusing, and no instructions or booklet. *No book listing good places to eat or places to visit. *The house is a little sparse, and could use some good comfy chairs to read in. *There are can lights in the living room which are extremely bright. There is no dimmer, and no lamp on an end table to turn on for alternative lighting. *There was no bottle of wine, basket of sweets, or a note of welcome from the owner upon arrival. No text to make sure we found everything or had any questions. Soooooooooo, with all that being said, we enjoyed our stay very much, but feel the owner could make the home more comfortable and welcoming. It really is a cute place with an awesome porch and a great backyard!

Quiet convenient location

The property had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had to shorten our trip and were refunded without a hassle. My only complaint is that the internet and TV situation could be better. The property offers Netflix, but has no provider This means no local news or regular TV. The internet signal was slow.

A weekend in my Grandparents' home!

Me and my daughter's family enjoyed 3 days and nights in my grandparents', their great-grandparents' and great-great-grandparents' house. Of course there have been many changes to this old house and it is so beautifully updated. We had a very comfortable stay with nice quiet evenings. A wonderful countryside setting yet still in the service area for DoorDash, Grubhub, and grocery delivery services. Four minutes to the highway. Very clean and organized. Great fenced lawn space for dogs to get their exercise.

Wonderful little house out in the country . Loved watching the cows from the porch . Very comfortable for my husband and two dogs . Big back yard with lots of room to hang out . Fire pit with chairs and picnic table were so nice to enjoy the fresh air . Only complaint is need another couch downstairs . The chairs are nice looking but for relaxing we needed another couch . Especially if there were more than two people . Loved everything but the living room - just needs more comfort . Great hostess , always replied promptly with any needs .

Lovely Country Setting

After a long day of travel, I about cried to see the bottle of wine left for us on the kitchen counter. This was such a lovely home. The hosts are generous with high quality bedding, everything you might need. Great communication. They even let us bring our two Labs. There's a nice fenced in yard. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. The cows across the street greeted us every day. Chickens roamed the yard next door. And a super sweet rooster called all day. Loved this stay. Thank goodness for people like these.

Wonderful

The area was great and the house was clean and comfortable. We absolutely recommend it! I noticed comments that it needs more furniture but I liked that it wasn’t cluttered and stuffed full of things. Beds were great. The front porch was awesome for coffee and just hanging out. We didn’t take our dog (he’s huge and I couldn’t imagine taking him in an airport or on a plane) but the back yard was fenced and they even had a kennel if we had. Lana was quick to respond and really nice. I absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you Lana!!!
