Kona Makai is one of the premier sought after oceanfront condo developments in Kona. It's near the heart of Kailua town. Ideal location near shopping, restaurants, and the beach at the Kailua pier.

Lush tropical gardens greet you on the walkway to the ocean front pool and hot tub. Dream away the hours watching whales in season or dip in the pool or spa. Large BBQ area with kitchen and tables.

Beautiful snorkeling reefs right at the property with access (except in high surf). Watch dolphins,sunsets and whales from the property. Shower is in the pool area to wash off.

Very convenient ~ 1 mile walk or 2 minute drive to town and well known restaurants . On the bus/trolley route. Five minutes from famous snorkeling beach with sea wall, lifeguard and sea turtles. Enjoy shopping in town and the open market.

Fitness center is well equipped with stationary bikes, tread mill and free weights for indoor workouts. Tennis courts above the covered parking area.

Great communication on how to get to condo, the condo was amazing, huge, especially for a "1 bedroom". The loft area really brings a lot of space. Fully stocked with everything we could think of. Great location (if it's stormy check out the salt water pool down the street).

The condo was neat and clean. The location was great with multiple beaches within a couple miles. The grounds well maintained and the pool area was great for relaxing. The hosts were great and communicated well through the stay.
