Beautiful Location

Perfectly nestled in the valley and a quick 10 minutes away from town. Nice place to stay for an overnight trip to West Jefferson.

bucolic getaway

The house is very cute and comfortable, and in a convenient location. We were surprised by a large but friendly neighborhood dog constantly hanging around. There was also a lot of dog hair on the linens in the house, which was a problem for us due to allergies. The water was off when we arrived, but the owner was responsive when contacted.

Overall a great stay. A good view of the mountains and everything you need for a get away. Few issues to note, the mini split in the living room leaked and some of the linens are a little more on the worn side. Host was very responsive and gave good recommendations. Overall a great trip, would consider coming back!

Good use of space

The house was small, but there was excellent use of space and I never felt shorted of room. It was nice on the inside and the location was great for quick access to West Jefferson.

Charming hideaway

Loved the location. A little ways from town but yet close enough to shop. The house is equipped with everything you will need including plenty of paper products and even bath products. The beds were comfortable and linens new. We loved having a fire and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. You will need to bring your own firewood. Ingles grocery store had plenty. We did have 2 neighbor dogs come visit but we could get them to leave by telling them to go home. They did however leave us a surprise near the front door so be careful where you step. All in all we enjoyed our visit and will return.
