This unit is Direct OCEANFRONT, on the 3rd floor in a quiet 4 story gated building with elevator and under-building parking.
Just steps to the sand and the Atlantic ocean via a walkover next to the building (see photos).
Not your typical beach condo—All the comforts of home and more! VERY clean. Quiet.

Everything is NEW--all furniture, kitchen ware, and linens are high quality & constantly replenished. The bedroom and dining furniture pieces are solid wood from local shops. There are 3 Samsung/LG Smart-TVs with easy to use Comcast Xfinity TV service. DVR service Living room.
Jacksonville Beach has a small-town, laid-back lifestyle during the week and is more lively on the weekends. This is a fairly quiet part of the beach.
I love sharing my oceanfront 25-year-dream-come-true with you. Everything is stylish and chosen for comfort -- furniture, appliances, cabinets, tile, bathrooms, LVP luxury vinyl plank flooring, A/C, kitchen dishes, cookware, mattresses...Everything! The pictures don't do it justice. It has everything you need for a few days or a few months. It is away from the pool and elevator so it's quiet. Luggage trolley, shopping cart, and beach wagon provided to carry all your stuff.
DETAILS:
Nicely furnished and fully-equipped for your beach stay. Beach cottage decor. Textured LVP luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout unit.
Living room furniture is cozy but not too soft and professionally cleaned regularly. Lots of room with a sofa plus 2 oversized chairs. Note: sofa is NOT a pull-out bed. There are soft throw blankets and lots of pillows. Three ottomans. Plenty of lamps, side tables. 10+ board games & puzzles! Easy to slide "almost blackout" curtains along your wall of oceanfront glass.
There are 2 private bedrooms in a split layout for privacy – large, primary bedroom with king bed and 2nd bedroom with queen bed. New mattresses and super-comfortable (I am often asked what the king mattress is!). Minimum 4 bed pillows per room, 2 firm and 2 softer. Remote controlled Hunter ceiling fans in both bedrooms and living room. Ceiling fan in the kitchen too.
Comfortably sleeps four (4) people. If necessary, the sofa sleeps a 5th person $60 per night additional charge. Extra bed pillows & twin XL linens are provided. It makes up as an XL twin bed by pulling off back cushions. The sofa is NOT a pull-out bed.
Oversized living area could easily accommodate your pack-n-play or yoga mat. NEW this year: small desk area with comfortable chair and ocean views!
There are 2 full baths – primary bath has a large walk-in shower with glass door and rainfall / hand-held shower head. Marble topped vanity and a wall cabinet for your stuff.
The 2nd bath has a deep soaking tub & shower with large handheld shower head. New vanity and wall cabinet too.
Quality, comfortable, bar-height Poly-wood balcony furniture for you to enjoy coffee, lunch, evening cocktails, or watching dolphins swim by.
New 100% cotton 400 thread-count bed linens and towels. EVERYTHING is cleaned between guest stays. See the reviews about how clean this condo is.
Regularly serviced and just replaced 2025 Carrier Coastal AC system. Digital easy to use Honeywell thermostat. I don't program the thermostat but it has a minimum threshold of 69 degrees. Whirlpool kitchen appliances. New LG full-sized washer and dryer.
Kitchen stuff constantly replaced to maintain quality...heavy non-stick cookware, white Corelle dishes, heavy quality stainless flatware and cutlery. Also plenty of plastic dishes to take poolside. Even ziploc storage containers for leftovers.
There are lots of wall hooks strategically placed around the unit.
There are TWO reserved parking spaces with one in the gated, under-building garage and the other outside. Gate remote is provided for your car. Locked gates on all entrances to the building. There are Video cameras on the exterior of the building and a Ring video on the unit's entrance door for your security (checked only at arrival to assure right number of guests staying in unit. We are not interested in surveillance!).
(3) HD Smart TVs with Comcast Xfinity Cable TV service and Wi-Fi. Comcast/Xfinity router and boxes upgraded recently and all have voice remotes! I pay extra to keep it simple for you!
*Living room has 65" LG High Definition 4K Smart TV with DVR service. *Primary bedroom has 58 inch Samsung HD Smart TV. *2nd bedroom has 28 inch Samsung HD Smart TV. All are wall-mounted.
Oceanfront pool recently resurfaced / updated, with outside shower and restroom and lots of outdoor seating.
BEACH STUFF provided: 4-6 beach towels; 4-6 beach chairs (w/backpack or shoulder carry straps); 7 foot sun umbrella with sand anchor; medium rolling cooler; small coolers; AND a big-wheeler beach wagon to haul it all down to the sand. There is a large deck box attached to your parking space that holds much of the beach stuff.
ALL LINENS are washed after EVERY guest, including bath rugs, throw blankets etc.
****PLEASE NOTE****
Beachdrifter is a smoke free property, NO SMOKING ANYWHERE, inside or out! Not on the balcony or the front walkways either. There is a small designated smoking area in the front of the building near the mailboxes and parking lot.
NO PETS ALLOWED in this unit.
This is hurricane country, please get TRAVEL INSURANCE to protect yourself!!!
DAMAGE PROTECTION: You pay a small, fully REFUNDABLE security deposit of $250. This is to cover potential damages to the condo and everything in it. VRBO will AUTOMATICALLY REFUND it to you 14 days after your departure.
Reminder: CHECK-IN is 4PM and CHECK-OUT is 10AM. $75-150 charge for 2-4 hour early check-in IF AVAILABLE.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Take trash out to dumpster, white enclosure far right of parking lot. Please Start dishwasher on 1-hour cycle. Set AC to 79.
Wash towels on cold, speed wash cycle. Leave keys and gate remote inside and lock door on way out.
You get brownie points for stripping the beds!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

My husband and I are long-time locals, live nearby, and we LOVE spending time on the beach with our son Jack.
Why they chose this property
THE VIEW! We have 20 miles of flat beach on one side and a thriving beach town on the other: with coffee houses, restaurants, shopping, music & art festivals. Travel a few miles for hiking and more nature. Great biking all around.
What makes this property unique
Oceanfront, Beachdrifter is a small building with only 23 units. Direct access to the ocean...it has a pool and an elevator and covered parking. The unit is COMPLETELY renovated with all the comforts of home. All the small things too. Guests often say that the pictures don't do it justice! We CARE about it and want you to enjoy it.
