Come to relax in a serene setting, surrounded by hundred- year-old live oaks. Jean Lafitte properties follow along the Bayou Barataria which is rich with the best, freshest seafood. There are nearby bayous and lakes for fishing and water sports. Local adventures include swamp tours, chartered fishing excursions, nature trails, and nearby boat launch access. The house, located just 25 miles from the New Orleans French Quarter and Bourbon Street is a perfect getaway for festivals and Mardi Gras.

The house is newly built in 2020 with modern appliances and furnishings. The space will accommodate up to 6 guests; the master has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has one bunk bed and a full-size bed. The house is raised, and below there is an outdoor kitchen with a fryer, outdoor grill, boiling pot for seafood boils, and a wash area. There are also sitting areas under the house overlooking the oaks for outdoor relaxing. The driveway has enough room to park a boat and trailer, and a public launch is only 2 miles away. The kitchen is fully stocked with all essential cooking ware for you to enjoy home cooked meals during your stay. Don't want to cook, no problem, the property is minutes away from several outstanding local restaurants. All other living essentials are already awaiting you to make this not only an enjoyable, but hassle-free stay and get the most out of your time with family and friends.
