About this property
A neighbourly welcome to the real Victoria: uni, theatre, hospital, shops & more
Designed for longer stays, the Pine Suite is a one bedroom with features that suit working from home as well as respite for visits involving health care. There is built-in shelving and Shaw's Fibre 300+ wifi for work or study in the living and dining room (with round table). And, there is good separation from the bedroom with antique iron and brass double bed (new mattress and box spring). A designer galley kitchen provides ample storage, with an additional pantry and storage room for your luggage.
Transformed from the ground level of a typical split level single famly home, the suite is anything but typical. The warmth of pine is featured in deep windows sills, a window seat and shelving. Appointed with art from our personal collection, the suite has the character of a home. A common patio area is available and the neighbourhood is a unique friendly adaptation of the Woonerf, that is, a place for being in community.
Departing guests who leave the suite as close to the condition provided as possible get 5 stars for "cleaning" in the post-stay reviews. The online system means that a "not very clean" rating will affect your overall rating on the website/platform.
Please focus on general cleaning: vacuuming, cleaning kitchen & bathroom, organizing recycling (& taking that out if your departure is on a recycle day).
We'll strip beds & do laundry. Let us know of any issues that require attention before next arrivals. If unsure about HOW to clean something, please don't hesitate to ask—we'll help. Thx!

The pictures and the description here give a true representation of the clean and tidy suite. It is located in a good housing area and surrounded by beautiful gardening. The tenants are very friendly and helpful. It is only a 10 min walk from Quadra Village (supermarket, restaurants) and even closer to bus stops. A good location for those, who don't mind a walk. I did enjoy my stay and will return for sure.

This was a lovely little suite to stay in for the summer. John and Rob were extremely easy to communicate with, and were incredibly knowledgable and helpful about the area. They have clearly put a lot of thought and consideration into the space. Having a few basic things set up in the kitchen and bathroom was so wonderful after lots of travelling and moving. They were also always available if we had questions about the neighborhood, needed recommendations for restaurants or activities. I would highly recommend staying with them.
