Wonderful place to stay in homer, very close to great restaurants and next to the beach. House had everything we needed and any questions were a quick phone call away. Would absolutely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay. All was clean and kitchen provided the basic necessities. We especially loved the path to Bishops Beach, the walk to nearby restaurants, raspberry picking and watching the eagles.
The vibe was so “Homer”. View was perfect. Mountains and ocean. . Walking distance to delicious restaurants, the beach and a wet lands trail! Owner was delightful and helpful. Perfect for two couples! Only one thing wrong. We couldn’t stay longer!

Welcome to the vacation rental experience! I’m so glad you loved it you are welcome back anytime it’s always nice to have appreciative guests 🌸
Great little cottage for our stay, everything was exactly as represented. It was very comfortable for 4 Adults. Perfect location for all of Homers activities. Would highly recommend this for a great stay
Great house with a lot of character in a good location, close to the Homer spit. Close to hiking trails and wonderful coffee/pastry shop. Check-in was easy and house was clean upon arrival.
It was a great property and location, walking distance to the water and shops / restaurants. It was as clean and well appointed as it could be for the age, location and allowing dogs. The owner was helpful and easy to contact.
This place was very close to the beach ( within walking distance!) and close to just about anything you would want to do in Homer. It was clean, had very cute furnishings, and was exactly what we needed! Great find!
The proximity to Bishop Beach is superb. Clean and spacious place. Property manager was extremely helpful. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but other than that, it’s a solid place to stay.
Great home base with a stocked kitchen and grill. It's a close walk to the beach and to 2 Sisters Bakery - both excellent options to start your day. The rooms were clean and exactly as shown in the photos. The upstairs balcony was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.
Our stay was comprised of myself and my two friends, plus our children. It was delightful. The location was fantastic and the amenities were just what we needed. Highly recommend.

Rachel! Your group was delightful to watch! Such happy kiddo's!
Couldn’t get any cuter than this. Perfect place to stay when in Homer. Located on a cute street within walking distance to a couple great breakfast places and the beach.
Both bedrooms have a full size bed and a twin. The upstairs balcony has a great view of the water. The cabin is charming and has everything you need. We didn’t cook there as Homer has great food, highly recommend the Twisted Goat, but kitchen seemed well equipped.
Bathrooms were a good size and the place was well layer out.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! Join us again as soon as you can!
What an adorable cozy cottage. We had 8 people so it was a tad congested at times, but we made it work just fine.
There was an issue with the sofa sleeper, and Connie expedited fixing the problem for us, which was very appreciated.
We had the benefit of binoculars to enjoy a closer look of the two Bald Eagles consistently perched in the tree directly across the street from us.
This was a fun place to stay while visiting Homer.

Sharon! I appreciated you and your gracious group and would love to have you return anytime! Best to you all! Connie
We stayed 5 nights in the Homer cottage. The location was nice with the beach across the road from the cottage. The Homer Spit was about a 2 mile drive away. The Spit has many nice shops with jewelry to tshirts. The piers have fishing boats and charter boats. We went to a few restaurants on the spit. I loved the bbq food truck at the very beginning of the spit. We also loved the 2 sisters bakery an easy 5 minute walk from the Cottage. Overall we enjoyed our stay. My only negative was no blackout curtains and it stayed light outside till 1-2am and i like sleeping in darkness. New curtains and I think this cottage would be perfect!!
Beds were comfortable, but there was no comfortable place to sit inside. It rained one of the days we were there, and we spent a lot of time inside. The toilets were very low and difficult to use as we are in our seventies. It would have been much easier with a grab bar.
The house was nicely decorated and had all the dishes and utensils you would need. There was even coffee in the fridge - thank you.

Hi Linda, Thank you for your input. I think grab bars at potty side will be a plus, we have them in our handicapped access Garden Cottage (The cottage in the right front). I will see to it. I assume you needed more seating than the sofa and dinette chairs that were in the upstairs lounge. I wish we had room for overstuffed chairs! Hope to see you again one day! Connie
We enjoyed the Sea Gypsy so much we returned for a second year. Connie is a great host and responsive to all our questions/needs. The house accommodated our family age ranges of 5-73 yrs old with bathroom on each level and plenty of sleeping space. Our kids loved the second floor family area. We love the decks and ability to cut out some quiet time for the younger kids on the second or first floor when needed. The kids had a nice space to run around in the yard as well.
The location is great! We were able to walk down to Beluga Slough in just a couple minute. Bishops beach was just a couple more. We also enjoyed visiting Islands and Ocean Center for Bird Festival activities. We will be back!
This property was so cute. It was whimsically decorated and clean and comfortable. Linens were new and clean and the floor was well kept. Bathrooms were large and well appointed with linens and body products. It is in close to proximity to several other cabins on the property and can be noisy with the windows open if others are recreating outside. Closing the windows eliminates all noise making it quiet and cozy. No a/c. Heat works well. Everything was super clean. Love the light upstairs & location. My family has medical dietary needs so we try to rent places where I can cook. The kitchen here was functional but could use some updating. The skillets were non stick. There was one small new one but the others were older and the coating was scraping off. The knives were very dull and need sharpened. Sufficient utensils were supplied except a whisk. Dishes for 8 people, only 6 mugs. Microwave is old but works well. The refrigerator has a very broken bottom shelf that has been repaired but didn't take, so it sags down and is hard to put things on without spilling. No ice maker in it. The refrigerator fan runs 100% of the time and is quite noisy. It disturbed the people sleeping in the downstairs room. The stove is newer and the burners worked great, gas/propane with electric ignition. Small sofa in the small living/dining/kitchen area is the only seating downstairs besides the 4 person table and bedroom. Its too uncomfortable to use. The cushions sag down into the metal frame.
