About this property
Le 22 - Magnifique appartement en plein cœur des Chartrons
Enjoy an exceptional stay in this atypical 140 m² duplex loft-style apartment, located in one of Bordeaux's most sought-after streets, rue des antiquaires, right in the heart of the Chartrons district, now semi-piedestrianized.
On the second floor of an 18th-century building, you're just a stone's throw from the tramway, markets, restaurants, bars and local shops.
Le Ô 22 offers all the comforts you need for an unforgettable stay, blending old-world charm with contemporary flair, and featuring a large 10 m² balcony to make the most of the mild Bordeaux evenings.
The 3-bedroom apartment comfortably accommodates 5 guests.
Ô 22 is composed as follows :
Second floor :
- A beautiful living room of over 60 m² with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams and Bordeaux stone walls, opening onto a long balcony, with a very convivial dining room for six people, a very large sofa with a flat-screen TV.
- A fully-equipped open kitchen: hob, multi-function oven, dishwasher, tumble dryer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and numerous kitchen utensils.
- A utility room with a large fridge, microwave and washing machine.
- A 35 m² master suite with king-size bed (180x200), flat-screen TV and desk area.
- A large dressing room.
- Bathroom with walk-in shower and double washbasin.
- Separate WC.
On the second level (slightly narrow staircase) :
- A single bedroom with a 90x190 bed and office space.
- A master bedroom suite (bed 140x190).
- Bathroom with shower and WC.
Quality sheets, towels, tea towels and a few coffee capsules are provided, and your bed is made up on arrival.
And of course, free Wi-Fi !
On the banks of the Garonne River, Bordeaux's Chartrons district is ideally situated between the prestigious Esplanade des Quinconces and the Jardin Public. Marked by its wine trade, then enriched by its maritime exchanges, its streets combine the sumptuous residences of former merchants with wine warehouses. A village within the city, in the image of the suburb it once formed, this Mecca for antique dealers and merchants encapsulates the history of Bordeaux.
Today, the merchants are still in Chartrons (after a short break in the 20th century). They have been joined in the alleyways by the antique dealers. Rue Notre Dame, with its 700-meter-long carriageway, is home to around forty of them. An emblematic street in the district, over the years it has seen the blossoming of art galleries and interior design stores. These small shops, which stamp it as a BOBO district, do not contradict its history. A history that is still dear to the hearts of its residents. Many of them consider themselves Chartronnais long before they were Bordelais !
