It is a perfect little cabin. We are very senior citizens and it was just right for us. It does need a couple of railings on the access stairs and Alex has promised they will be there for us next year for our return. The price is very reasonable for a place fifteen minutes from the Spit. We live in Alaska and have traveled to Homer every year for forty years. For most of those years, we have stayed at the very end of the Spit at the Land's End. Those rooms are now 350 a night. Alex, the grandson of the owner, was very responsive. He was ever present on his phone to support us as needed.I had no luck uploading the mama moose and adorable calf that spent the whole first night with us you will simply have to take my word for it
Very private and comfy little cabin! Hostess was very friendly and attentive! Loved painting rocks for her garden and all of the special little touches that made our stay wonderful! Highly recommend this property!
I booked this cabin for my folks - their first time in Alaska. From what I heard and the pictures I saw, this was an amazing place to stay and the hosts were absolutely wonderful. The views from the cabin looked breathtaking. So happy I booked this cabin to elevate my parents’ experience there!

What a amazing place to stay. It was so comfortable cozy, and quite. Had amazing views. The host Anne has it decorated so nice. Will definitely stay here again.
We stayed for three nights while visiting two national parks. This property makes you feel like you are in the country, while being close to all there is to see in Homer and beyond. Feels like a studio, but totally worked for the two of us.
This cozy cabin is full of character and warmth. We enjoyed a peaceful stay with our dog (dog friendly property) that was hosted by a delightful long-time resident (on the property). Gorgeous landscaping, breathtaking view of Kachemak Bay, and close to all of Homer's amenities. Loved it!
The cabin was just like we expected, though it had quite a bit of bugs which is understandable since we were in a wooded area. The only caveat seems to be that you cannot lock the cabin from the outside, though we were on a pretty secure property and only left clothing behind so it wasn't so much of an issue. Incredibly friendly and welcoming owners! Would stay again if given the opportunity!
Pleasant stay for my wife and I along with our dog.

Hostess Ann was so friendly, accommodations were disappointing.
Disappointing, could not secure the entry door when leaving the property, no bathroom sink, a Cafe door for the bathroom door, no privacy and combo Smoke and carbon monoxide was mounted on a wall behind a large bouquet of artificial flowers.
