The property was exactly as described! It was a super easy 5 min walk to Eagle Lodge which was a god-send after a long day of snowboarding for us, and we were very happy with everything. Will definitelty recommend this to other travelers going to Mammoth!
A nice condo located near Eagle Lodge. Not a true ski in and out place but a fairly short walk up the road to the lift. Power to the whole neighborhood went out for 25 hours shortly after we first arrived. Owner/Manager let us use another condo in town to take showers while we waited for the power to come back on.

Thank you for staying at the condo, the power outage was the entire street and doesn't happen frequently, if ever. I am sorry that you rated my condo 5 stars for such incident especially when I tried accommodating any way possible. Hopefully you can come stay again and have a better experience.
This was not ski in ski out. You need to walk 57 minutes to get to the lift. House and appliances are in good condition. We arrived couple of hours early and I already told host but the house was super cold when we arrived and 5 feet of snow outside and it took few hours for the house to get warm. Host did not leave enough towels for us and when we asked for more towels she/he asked for 50 for extra towels. Finally she/he left 2 dirty towels for us for free.
A bit disappointed upon arrival but enjoyed our stay.
Upon arrival at 4pm we found our parking spot occupied. Contacted the owner and found out their friend was in our spot and we could be towed if we parked in another spot. All available outdoor parking was taken. Had to risk getting towed by parking in someone else's spot. An hour later the friend moved their car so we could get in our assigned spot. Once in the condo we realized the 2nd bedroom comforters were covered with long white dog hair and the dog hair was on the lower edges of the living room couches. Looked like the cleaning service brought their dog. Called the owner again but it was too late for cleaning to come back. We bought a sticky roller to remove hair at the store but after using it realized there was too much hair to get it all off. The owner then told us there were more duvet covers in the closet. We switched them out and very much enjoyed the rest of our stay. This condo has lots going for it. It's convenient to the slopes, just a short walk. It has underground parking, perfect for the not having to deal with shoveling snow or chaining up. The size was great, 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Good kitchen, convenient mud room in the condo, a warm and cozy pellet stove and a hot tub for after skiing and riding. Wall heaters don't work, however with the pellet stove and a freestanding electric heater in the master we stayed warm. We've stayed at Aspen Creek condos many times over the years. Jess was responsive and quickly replied to our issues, thanks Jess!

Poorly managed property
We stay at VRBO properties all the time and have never encountered a lack of hospitality, communication and sound management like we did at this property.
First of all, they do not update their VRBO site with current information instead they message you directions about their property. So if you go to look at the information for the property via the Vrbo booking listing, you will not find it. This has never been a problem for us in the past as we have never stayed at a property that didn't have a easy to find a binder with all of the information explaining property controls this place does not have anything like that.
When we arrived at the condo at 10 PM at night, it was 42° inside the condo. Due to no Wi-Fi we were not able to access the pellet heating instructions and could only get two of the three wall heaters to work within the condo. I was able to go outside and call left a voicemail upon our arrival asking for help. No one called me back. It never got over 57° that night within the condo. It was very chilly and uncomfortable sleeping and a horrible way to start the trip. WiFi information sent was incorrect, but finally figured it out by looking at router. Texts back were rude (see screenshots). The Jacuzzis in the main building we're like bathwater, not very warm. Overall the place was not very clean with the dirty dishes in cabinets and moldy areas in bathroom. Bed not very comfortable in master. The biggest plus to this place is the location close to Eagle.
We were a party of 5: my husband and I used the bedroom with the King bed (was comfortable) and the 3 teenage boys doing mountain biking used the room with the bunk beds. Plenty of space for us all.
Pros:
1) single story condo. Elevator from underground parking to floor of condo
2) owner very quick to respond to any questions I had
3) good location for mountain biking and skiing (right next to Eagle Lodge). Quiet.
Hi, my name is Jess, I am very excited to extend my second home to you! I am a single mom of two and just purchased this condo late 2020. It's been a dream of mine to have a vacation home in the mountains so I can have the best of both worlds while living in San Diego by the beaches! I hope you enjoy the condo as much as we do!
What makes this property unique
This condo is in the perfect location! The condo fits year needs year round! You can walk to Eagle Lodge in the winter and jump on a bike and hit the trails in the spring and summer months. It's close to town and the trolley is across the street so no need to drive while you stay! There are 3 hot tubs and a large pool. Couldn't ask for more!
