We had a wonderful stay at the Mississippi house for the 4th of July long weekend. The house was absolutely gorgeous and communication with Susan was easy and quick. It was a 5 star stay!!
I have stayed in many short-term rentals across the country. The Mississippi House of Pass Christian is one of the cleanest homes in which I have stayed. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil/appliance that one could imagine. The beds were very comfortable. The host was responsive and provided accurate details of what to expect and how to operate everything in the home. Last but not least, the views from the home are GORGEOUS! I would certainly stay in this home again.
Gorgeous house!! Very clean/comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the beach and pool- cooked all of our meals in the fabulous kitchen! Never needed to leave! Only wish we stayed longer! Will certainly return!
Beautiful property right on the beach. Owner was very responsive and followed up with us. Best property we have stayed at and excellent contact with owner. A+++++
The home and all of the amenities were more than we could have asked for. The owner was gracious and hospitable and very attentive. We will be back!!!! Loved it!
The property was amazing. It was our first time to stay in Mississippi and we throughly enjoyed it. The pictures do not do this house justices. It was clean it was spacious, the ease of access to the beach was very easy. Great restaurants in the area in Pass Christian and going to Gulfport or Biloxi was not long of a drive. I would highly recommend this property for a family trip or a getaway with friends. Also the host is very polite and gave us a list of activities we could do before we got there.
We were disappointed with our entire experience. The house was dirty and construction debris was all over the master bathroom when we arrived. It was difficult for my husband and I to reach the front door when we arrived because the wooden ramp wash covered with leaves and debris. The location was on a very busy highway and a busy, noisy cross street. There was so much road noise we had to use the sound machine provided to get to sleep at night. The view from the house is beautiful except in our master bedroom -where a moldy, rusty folded ping pong table was in front of the windows and door out to the porch. The grandkids were so disappointed because the ping pong table was unusable. As was the beach. The beach was closed because of a bacterial warning. Be sure to check on that before going. Also the pool was broken and we were not able to use that during our stay. Again, our grandchildren were sad. The beach is very close to the busy, NOISY highway and extremely difficult to access due to steep concrete steps. I would definitely not recommend this property for a family vacation. There is a lot of deferred maintenance.
Our entire family, including three grandchildren under age three years, very much enjoyed this house. It was well appointed, very quietly located and close (but not too close) to restaurants and a chain department store.
We flew kites on the property and truly enjoyed the pool.
There can be no finer beach location in Pass Christian.
From the moment we spotted the “home” we all knew it would be spectacular! As soon as you enter you are drawn to the incredible views of the “Gulf Of Mexico” through the massive, beautiful front windows and glass doors encompassing the entire front of the home…….every aspect of the house is impeccable…….from the huge front porch with enough seating for the entire family to the lavish, bright, modern flair spacious den, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. This “historic looking home” was well stocked to where there is no rush to go to store which is located 3 minutes away!! Cannot forget the “plunge pool” overlooking the beach…….what a way to unwind and relax!
We had the best time in this gorgeous home. It’s even prettier in person. The front porch was my favorite spot and the floor plan gives everyone plenty of space and privacy. High end finishes everywhere…bedding to appliances, even the doors and hardware. The owner is so accommodating and kind. We received a delivery of goodie’s our first day there. That’s the extras you don’t always get when renting and it was much appreciated. We’ll definitely be back, as we grew up in The Pass and have lots of family there to visit.
To sum it up: we will be back!
This house is gorgeous inside and out. Kitchen was phenomenal, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the outside porch was perfect to relax and gaze at the gulf.
The walk to the beach was super easy.
We can’t say enough about this house.
Thank you, Ms. Susan, for allowing us to stay a few days. Wish it was longer.
We took our kids on a quick getaway and stayed at “The Mississippi House of Pass Christian” Gulf Front Farmhouse and had a wonderful time.
The house is gorgeous and has everything your family may need. In case there's something you can't find, the Walmart is a 1-minute drive from the house.
Here's the KEY - the house is practically ON THE BEACH. Each morning we put our gear in the cart, walked across the street, and spent the entire day by ourselves without any traffic, parking, or noisy beachgoers.
If you haven't been to Pass Christian (we hadn't been before) then you're missing out. It's a small, safe, quiet community that sits right on top of the gulf. The sand is soft and white and the water is warm and shallow. If you check the weather and it says rain, no worries. It was supposed to storm the entire time we were there and we barely saw a drop.
Overall, I'd absolutely recommend staying in this home and look forward to going back soon!
Absolutely loved the stay. House was perfect for my family, plenty of space and beautiful views and access to the beach.
The owner was fantastic, and welcoming! Highly recommend this location. We will
Most assuredly return.

Why they chose this property
It has been a very fun project that has been very easy to fall in love with. My hope is that every guest will feel the spirit of all of those who have gone before us, enjoying the riches of the Mississippi coast. The history of this area is immense. While the house is not knew, the architect and the previous owners did a beautiful job of capturing the turn of the century feel of days gone by, but allowing us to enjoy the new bells and whistles of modern conveniences.
This is just a fabulous property.
What makes this property unique
This home was in pristine condition and only needed interior updating to its furnishings to make it more appropriate for the vacation rental market. The location is absolutely perfect. It is close to everything, but far enough away to have our little piece of privacy. It is just wonderful.
